Course Curriculum Overview

It's 10/10 because the course is very helpful for me personally. By doing this course I can do the work I want to in future. Course is very much applicable in our day to day life as our world is now all about money finance and business

I'm a freshers now so I don't have much knowledge regarding this but I have heard from our seniors that the college provides various internship opportunities to students which help them to build their good future

Placement Experience

As I have seen the alumni and I also consulted with my seniors that placement from this college is great . And if we pass with good percentage the percentage pf getting jobs and opportunities is very easy

Fees and Financial Aid

Admission fee is 7180 for regular and people with income certificate get admission for 650. And self financed have to pay 1000 extra and yes we do received shoochlership facilities . There are various Schoolership like sc caste, st caste ,obc caste and ishan uday Schoolership.

Campus Life

Our college is known for its environment and culture. Our College organised various activities which help students to show their hidden talent and provide opportunities to do it in higher level . So personally I love my college

Admission

I have choosed this college because it's convenient for me. The transportation is also easy from my house to the college. And mostly the degree i want to is here available. And I love this place and it's environment

Faculty

Teachers are very helpful and kind to students. They help us in our study and personally guide us for our study and also help in personal matters. There are 2 exams are organised in the college,one is seasional exam and other is final exam of the semester

Night Life

The nightlife around my college is good. All the day to day life requirements can be found near the college campus. Till now I haven't faced anything hard so for it's good now . I hope in future also I face nothing serious incidents.

The college i study in is very good

Placement Experience:

Students from 5th semester onwards are ready for campus placements. The students from our college gets a very good college placement at a very nice company and salary. The percentage of students getting degree are 80% and my plan after my degree are to become "Company Secretary or job at SBI".

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the course is very rich and varied for someone from commerce background . There are a lot of subjects for students which students study in various semesters . There's even EVS in the curriculum which is wierd but also great . I feel the curriculum is a lot based on the real life there are topics related to computerised accounting, e businesses , virtual reality , augmented reality , stock markets etc etc . which are ig very necessary for today's world . Since I am just in my 1st semester I don't think I can say a lot about the improvements that can be made but I feel the curriculum can also include a little about AI as it's the burning topic of today's world . If there's a subject like EVS for commerce then I feel even an AI subject will not pose much difficulty or chaos among the students . Exams are very regular . I just had my sessional exams in October and now I am preparing for my finals which are in December

Gauhati University: A Students perspective.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This is an integrated course where i will be getting a masters degree after completing 5 years. Only tezpur university provides this course other than GU. The curriculum prepares students mainly to pursue careers in academic fields and research fields. More practical aspects can be added to provide a holistic knowledge to the students. The exams are very well planed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Nothing influenced my decision to choose this course. I just wanted to choose this course for fun, to be honest. the curriculum rarely prepares us for real-world applications or further academic pursuits but whenever it does it would be very beneficial for the students. Held frequent inspections in the college so that they can improve themselves and the teaching method should be in a friendly and more comprehensive way. The exam timings are perfect along with the perspective of their difficulty level.

Gauhati Commerce College : A premier Institution for Conmerce Education with Evolving Opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well, nothing specific has influenced me in the decision to choose this course that is BCOM as most of these student after passing shoes, so I also opt to BCOM. Well, the curriculum does not fully prepare the students for real world applications or further academic pursuits. They does not provide any practical knowledge or any kind of internship to the students for the real world. Well, according to me, they should provide some internship or something related to practical knowledge. This improvements are very necessary. The frequency and timing of exams is very low like within four months the university tries to complete the whole semester, and it's very hard to complete the whole syllabus within just four months.

I applied to various colleges but I confirmed Darrang College because this college is near to my home as compared to others . I didn't got rejection from other colleges. I didn't make it there because the course I wanted to study was not there . The admission process is merit based . Improvement in Sports activities needed

I applied for EFLU (Shillong Campus), Central University of Karnataka, Tezpur University, Gauhati University and Dibrugarh University and some of their affiliated colleges like Darrang College, DHSK College and many more. I did get pass through the merit lists of Karnataka, Darrang and DHSK. I chose this college among others cause this college is in middle assam which is more safe than other parts and also have a great environment in the campus and also the college is good , and the people in it .
