Course Curriculum Overview
There is computer science and quant spread all along the world and hence I selected this course which compiles both the things. The course circulum is great and inspired by the top universities of world like oxford and stanford and performing as great as those universities does.
Internships Opportunities
Almost all the companies which provides internship in India, provide interships to IIT Delhi students. Also students do some research interships under many professors also under the foreign universities also.
Placement Experience
From the seventh sem students are eligible for campus placements. Almost all the companies which hires in India came to IIT Delhi for the placements, The highest package is worth about 3-4 cr in recent years and the average package is about 25lakhs. Almost 80% of the students got the placements. After getting the degree I will opt for campus placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
I have to pay 2lakh per year tution fees and 80 thousand mess and hostel fees, but due to scholarship by IIT Delhi I have to pay only 28 thousand of tution fees. So, the IIT Delhi is actually providing me Merit Cum Means scholarship in the form of tution fees wavier.
Campus Life
The annual fest is rendezvous which is in the month of october and technical fest is in the month of March. Almost all the relevant books are available in the library. The classes are very good and have very well equipments, also we have a lot of clubs out of them all are run by students.
Hostel Facilities
We have one bed, one chair, one table per person in the room but the cupboard are not enough for each students. Mess food quality is very great and it has very much variety. We got hostel from the institute itself.
Admission
I have applies for only IIT Bombay above the IIT Delhi, but for the obvious reasons I was not able to get IIT B, but now I am happy with my decision. The admission process for the IIT is through Jee mains and then JEE Advanced followed by josaa counselling.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is good. The faculties are very friendly, and supportive. They always tries to help the students and have a lot of knowledge inside them. The exams are sometimes difficult, but as all the students are talented so they are able to clear the exams easily. Course is somewhat not that relevant.
Interview Experience
the test pattern is easy for the interview and placements, as i heard it from seniors because I am not in fourth year so I can;t go with placements but I have done this a lot so dont want to write this stuff
Night Life
The best thing in late-night outs is we have amazing night messes, also the library is opened during the night which is also great. Almost all the hostels have their gym, reading rooms, and night messes. Also we have many cafeterias near the academic institutes.
