Course Curriculum Overview

4

Choosing law is my own decision and i think that dy patil is good university to do law I think they need to improve there teaching staff I know teaching staff is appointed by Mumbai university but they can also do some work on this There are different-different types of courses for each course they give different timing because for our course they give 2:30hours to complete and our course is comes wiith 75:25 pattern

Fees and Financial Aid

My yearly fees is 55000 and all type of fees are included in this For special category classes there are some reservations and also concessions in fees according to there caste And about my batchmates they also come from open category so their fees also same as me

Campus Life

3

About Indian festivals mostly they celebrate all festivals with students and they do lots of events for student fun Library is not too big but you can find most of things you need like daily newspapers journals and also books related to indian articals and constitution About sports they do inter college competitions like cricket, football, kabbadi and eyc matches for students fun and relaxation

Admission

I applied for 6 colleges and dypatil is one i want and i kept it on first and I got confirmed admission from dypatil in first round and choose this college because dypatil is good university No I don't get rejection from other college because in first round of cet i gof dypatil In my college the admission process is so easy only have to submit documents and fill admission form and pay fees In my course there are 6sems for 3years and currently I'm pursuing it for me it was going good

Faculty

3

Faculty to student ratio, in faculty which i study is around 500 to 600 Relation between faculty and students is good because they always stay connected with students and students can also easily approach faculty There are no restrictions for any student to meet Principal or HOD they can meet them directly I don't know about other faculties. But in which I study is Good In 1year there are 2sems and exam are not too difficult or easy it is moderate In out of 100 there are some 5-6 students only fail to clear exams In law faculty LL.B is one of the course which i was pursuing and i think it has some more difficulties then other law courses

Night Life

Trilegal, JSA, AZB, Tatva Legal and various other law firms from Mumbai itself offers us jobs worth 10 to 20 lakhs. In a cours where only a few colleges have placements ours is one of those. It has tie-ups with many lawyers and firms whichbare into litigation or arbitration.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is extremely outdated. While NLU students are learning about law in thier first year itself, we have to wait till 3rd year for the same thing. A lot of students end up learning more at internships rather than at college

Placement Experience:

From 4th Year of the college the student is eligible for a pre-placement offer, main placements happen in the Final year i,e. 5th year. Companies that hire majorly are Tier-1 and Tier-2 law firms, like AZB, Khaitan&Co. Average package goes to about 15-16LPA. My plan is not fixed yet, but I aim to pursue SEBI or RBI law officer exam.
