- Nice hostel facilities even though it is maintained by government
- There is good library and study rooms with AC facilities
- Good support from previous alumni, faculty and seniors
Dislikes
- No other extra circular activities like sports
- The hostel and the college are 1.5km away ,have to travel more often
- Classroom is too big that students sitting in last benches can't see the ppt
Course Curriculum Overview
Topics are covered as per the NMC cirruculum without delay. Exams are also conducted regularly. In my opinion PPT should be thoroughly explained instead of just reading them. In anatomy topic should be discussed with diagrams clearly instead of showing the labeled diagrams, using of 3D models or apps for teaching must be initiated for our better understanding
Internships Opportunities
Intership is provided for 1 yr in Guntur Government hospital there is much patients flow and good clinical exposure. As a 1st year UG we are not yet exposed to clinicals and don't know much about it .

Campus Life
Campus and classroom are good, but there are not fests here but Christmas event is celebrated by students which i loved. No sports and extracurricular activities just we are having badminton court and gym in hostel. There are student meetings conducted for juniors by seniors for better understanding about the subject and mbbs 1st year syllabus
Hostel Facilities
Facilities are pretty good There is a fan to each bed as for now we are in common hall later on we will be shifted to seperate rooms . Now in common hall there is less space but fans are alloted to each bed . There are study rooms with AC facility. For bathing there are gestures for hot water, washrooms are maintained clean Meals are provided in hostel , quality is okay and taste is also okay but not very good for lunch. Breakfast and dinner are nice, for snacks we have to buy them.
Admission
I also applied for Rangaraya medical college, kakinada but the problem there is i didn't like the hostel for 1st year students the rooms are very much congested When i visited guntur medical college i found these hostel rooms comparatively better Other aspects are as usual. The hospital beds are more here . Eligibility as a gen category student , i got this college in my 2nd round of state counselling i scored 656 marks my all india rank is 21392. Counselling and Admission process is easy but in Admissions it is very time consuming comparec to Rangaraya medical college,kakinada.
Faculty
The faculties are approchable and in dissection hall each table is assigned with one faculty , we are exposed to each and every faculty . Monthly Part completion tests are conducted and also FAs are conducted .
Night Life
I thing i liked here is outings , we can enjoy the nightlife as there is gate closing time untill 9pm. But in guntur i didn't find many places to hangout, there is a mall nearby which we oftenly visit.
Other Applied Colleges
