Remarks

I suggest the college to aspiring engineering candidates. It is an amazing college. It is filled with nature all over the campus. It provides a lot of good opportunities that helps in overall development of students. Real engineering is done here.

Course Curriculum Overview

The courses offered by the college are good. The course is in-depth. The exam consists of 1000 marks, with 100 marks for each theory and lab subjects. Also, two internal assessments per semester are held.

Placement Experience

The college provides an amazing placement service. The college has a placement cell that guides the students in a precise way. The packages offered to students ranges from 3 lakhs per year to 16, and a wide range of job opportunities.

College Events

There are four festivals held a year. Two being cultural and two being technical. Two festivals are held per semester. Students from various college take part in the competitions. Also, other events are organised by IEEE.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is feasible. The per semester fee for general category is 25000 and exam fee is around 2000 rupees. The fee is subsequently lesser for category students. Overall, the college structure is affordable for all students.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college offers a scholarship to suitable students. VisionUvce is the scholarship that is offered to meritorious students and selection is done based on multiple rounds. Also, a fee waiver is applicable to selected category of students.

Campus Life

Sports is encouraged in the college as it the only engineering college under bangalore university. Labs are quite old and equipped with old instruments. Currently whole college is under renovation as it crossed the 100 year milestone.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network is active and take part in college programs. Senior students are very helpful. They help the juniors to go through the course as well as other related topics. Overall, alumni network and seniors are very helpful.

Admission

I took Common Entrance Test for karnataka students. Once the ranks were given, seats were allotted based on the ranks, it was online process. Next, it took half day to complete the admission process at the college campus.

Faculty

The college has an experienced team of faculty. They are master degree holders and Ph.D holders with a profound knowledge and teaching experience. They guide the students in every detail. Also, help the students in and out of course.

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage

From 7th to 8th semester students become eligible for campus placement and various types big hotel brands, airlines, cruiselines and big companies visit to recruit or give placements to students and average offers are made around 600000 lakhs per annum. Collage provides 100% placement to students and we go for intership twice, once in 3rd semester and second in 8th semester. we can choose whereever we want to do our intership even we can apply for abroad interships. After I complete my degree I am planning to get a job in any international brand or cruiselines then after 2-3 years of experience I will do complete my masters then I will settle down with a nice job in India.

Bold, Beautiful and Brutal shades of UVCE

• I got my seat through KCET exam, so basically in my order priority UVCE was the 5th college and I knew that I'll not get the other 4 colleges because I knew my score, cutoffs of those colleges and my category reservations too well. Why I chose this college was simple, I knew for a fact that it was affordable. • Coming to the rejection part it was never like doorstep rejection it was just the feeling of shit-I-wanted-it. As they say, whatever happens it happens for something good, and now that I see how the colleges I happened to get are charging, I feel good for not getting in. • The admission process began when KEA website announced the 2nd rounds results of KCET and opened the admission portal. We had to pay fees to the KEA portal and generate a payment receipt/challan after that we'd recieve a admission order, then we had to go to the allotted college and show the admission order and go with our attested documents signed sealed and present it and tada admission done....Read More
