Likes
- First and major pillar of our Department of Physics is our well experienced professors they are 20 years experienced in the university they helps us at each and every difficulties.
- Also one of the main thing is our clean and safe campus and hostels, University provide the hostels for the students and fees are just 8000 rs for 1 year , also University provide the daily dinner for students which are below the poorty line.
- The main advantage of our Department of Physics is the research program and research work, our each professor doing research in their domain, also we have 2 professors they belong to the worlds 2 % scientist.
Dislikes
- One major problem is the parking and entrance .
- Also the small campus and as we have not large number of students this campus is enough to us .
- Not at all dislikes more than 2 the major two are already mantion above.
Course Curriculum Overview
The syllabus which provides us to compite in the NATIONAL TEST , also prepare us for the other exams so the syllabus is not more lengthy and more helpful. Teaching methods are very simple we get each book in our library for reference and our faculty does not need any kind of reference book during their lectures they are well prepared and well experienced in their domain. Also timing of the exams are very student oriented.
Fees and Financial Aid
Here the fees are per semester as 2510 rs per semester and also 810 exam fees . As government scholarship we get 3000 rs back in our bank account if we are in SC /ST/OBC . As my personal experience last year I got 6000 rs in my bank account as scholarship (per semester 3000) .
Campus Life
In our department each vacation we get opportunity to participate in research internship program. Here we get to research opportunities in our desired domain also we get 3000 per month internship. I think this is very helpful for our PhD career. Youth festival and sports days are my favourite because we enjoy the each activity and participate in each one of them.
Admission
The major difference between our department and our University is they provide the future of every student not just by their syllabus or exams but by their youth festival, sports days , other cultural activities and also skill development activities. This can bring the more productive thinking in each student's life . Also help us in our job.
Faculty
As our faculty point of view in all over Gujarat only our department have 11 full time faculties. So anytime we have any kind of difficulty in our syllabus or our daily routine or any personal life problems we can easily get solution from them. I think we have a great bond between faculty and students because we learn how to survive in life . Their teaching methods are very friendly and each semester we get chance to revise our full syllabus. In internals exams we have half portion of the syllabus so in the end externals exams are not more tough for us. This strategy build by our professors, also one thing I want to mantion that *"each faculty behaviour is same as our parents."*
Night Life
Vallabh Vidyanagar this place is only for the students at night we get safe environment all over around the campus and hostels, also University provide the batter safe experience for girls students who are staying in hostel, as I know in the radius of 500 meter of girls hostel no boys are allowed without permission. This brings the safe side of girls hostel.
