- College is built in on a mountain which makes its campus beautiful and filled with nature.
- A lot of cleanliness around.Not a bit of garbage can be seen anywhere.wwll maintained and taken care of.
- A number of computer labs.If any problem occurs with any electronic devices it is solved within a day or two
Dislikes
- Sometimes there's weak network due to its location.
- Uniform and I'd cards are compulsory and checked on a regular basis.
- Some of the professors are not well acquainted with the subject.
Course Curriculum Overview
My field is computer science and engineering GTU mainly focused only on theoretical knowledge, there no such thing like “Practical Knowledge” in GTU . Even if you want to join Online courses or other professional institute to gain practical knowledge , you can’t because ;in GTU schedule of exams and submissions are not well arranged. GTU never give any extra knowledge which you can’t study online or your own.
Internships Opportunities
A student has to get the internship on their own. Only 1or 2 companies comes for internship which provides stipend of 10000 There are many students who do not get internship and pays money to get internship.
Placement Experience
There is very little placement in computer science department As there are no IT companies nearby. If a student do not get placement then the college hire them as professor in th college. Two or 3 IT companies visit here with very less offer.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yearly fees for bachelor of engineering course is ?80000 We need to pay the fees term wise i.e 40000 per term Additional insurance fees for 4 year course is ?6800 Scholarship is also provided i.e digital gujrat postmeteic scholarship . Also they provide u with documents necessary for other outside scholarship .
Campus Life
Campus Life is very poor here. Students are treated as a student of school rather than college. Once u enter the college u can't leave the campus before the lecture finishes. There are no such students club . Sports meet is held every year.
Admission
I had applied in other colleges but it was too far from my home This college was nearby and it's timing is suitable for me. Admission process We don't need anything extra Just adhar card Xerox 10th and 12th marksheet And jee admit card
Faculty
Some of the faculties of college are hired just after completion of their degree, so they are not well trained about handling a student. Rest of the faculties are okay but not as per the expectations. In a single sem there are 2 exams conducted: 1) Mid sem exam which is of 50 marks which is later converted to 20 2) End sem exam which is of 70 marks Paper comes from Gujarat Technological University As this college comes under that. Mid sem exams are not too difficult as question bank is provided End sem exams are quite difficult as it contains whole syllabus
Night Life
There are no such nightlife in this college as this college have very limited students in college. No night functions in college. No gym,no cafeteriaa. Even a canteen in a proper sense doesn't exist here.
