Reviews about VIT pros and cons.

I want to become software engineer because of interst in Computer by starting. They should give relevent subjects that are useful in that particular branch, their teaching method includes Power point presentation they project on projector, which after they upload on VTOP which is a website for students where they have all their information and material uploaded by the teachers. We have exams in every 1-2 months CAT 1 is after only 25 days after starting of semester and second exam after 45 days of first CAT which is open book exam. First exam is medium level and second CAT is harder than CAT 1. Then FAT is of 100 marks which is easier than CAT @ but is lengthy.

Our college gives internship opportunities and remind us about the opportunities of internships in different companies. We must do summer internship which is necessary from second semester, which is the part of semester which add some marks for us.

We are eligible for the placements from sixth semester. Here many premium companies visit like Microsoft, Google etc etc. Highest offeers made are of 1 cr per annum and average package offered is of 11 Lpa in 2024. About 70 percent of student got placed. I want to do a startup after my degree.

Like I fall in category 3 which has yearly fee for course is about 4 lakhs and fee for hostel in which I got 6 beded AC room the fee for it is 165000 yearly. It will increase if we will take room with less members, and there are 5 to 6 category which depend on rank of the student I got 3255 rank in VITEEE and got admission in category 3, and total fee for all 4 years is about 22.5 lakhs.

We have two types of fests in our college per year in which one is technical fest which is gravitas held in month of october and one is Reviera which is cultural fest held in ending of the february month. Here we get a wide range of books in our library which we can issue in library hours, we are provided with classroom with projectors on which teachers represent their ppts. Here we have to pay for using the facilities of indoor courts. we have 3 gyms for which we have to do the registration for using the facility which we have to pay semesterly. We have many groups for which joining them we got credits. these help us in Socialising in the college.

We are provided with almirahs study table and on each study table we have lamp for studying at night without disturbing others. We have different types of mess and the quality of mess food is ok, and menu changes every month. we have to register for hostel at the starting of the college and we have to pay in advance.

I chose this college over others because of NIRF ranking of this college and I filled form of BITS Pilani but I didnot got CSE branch in it. We have to clear the exam of VIT which is its own to get admission in this college, There is no real cut off because you can take admission in CSE branch even if you got 40000 but you have to pay very higher like approx 6-7 lakhs per annum for course of CSE. Overall admission process is really very fast and we have to pay fee in advance.

As I am in first semster college alloted us the teachers randomly. Fortunatly I got good Teachers, but our Calculus teacher is very lazy and donot upload PowerPoints regularly. She upload only few days before exams. In second semester I have to choose teachers through FFCS system but all the slots were filled because teachers were filled by senoirs.But I realyy appreciate Exsm System because I can evaluate my progress through them, we have 3 exams in 1 semester, marking scheme is that CAT are of 50 marks and are converted into 15 marks and FAT are of 100 marks and got converted into 40 marks.

There are 3 gyms in campus and have KFC, Dominos, DC AC kitchen and have many juice points. We have library with 3 floors and have their closing time at 12 pm and opening time at approx 9 am. We have Foodys KC and here students prepare them fro events and clubs. We have to enter the campus at 7 pm and we have to enter the hostel area within 9 pm. We can Hangout inside have many cafeterias and public places in which many dishes are available. Outside the college we can visit pondicherry and vellore fort and go ou for trekking. First of all we cant roam out and I think its not safe to stay outside at night as I have heard that Drunkard roam outside at night.
