- They have a scholarship scheme which is given to all students who maintain the eligible cgpa (7 for gen 6.5 for sc/st).
- The hostel is allotted for everyone who take admission
- The infrastructure is of high quality from the academic building to the hostel , everything is premium and standard labs are there with central AC everywhere and library is massive and so premium.
Dislikes
- The mess food is compromising and average at the price 2600/- per month
- They give very less marks to students such as the topper marks goes around 8.3 or 8.5
- Apart from being a institute of national importance they are still lagging behind in rankings and they doesn’t have placements for students
Course Curriculum Overview
My course is for forestry and I aim for ifos exam in upsc. As this university is ICAR affiliated and the courses are designed by them it is very easy for us to prepare that way. The teaching methods are so well developed and practicals are done for sure. Engaging and fun. But the exams always happens one after the other you really don't get time. The semester just ends in 4-5 months.

Campus Life
It is very low rated in terms of campus life as the festivals are so boring there is no arrangements for entertainment literally, they don't have at all, all the things runs from students funds. The sports was also so downgraded here no one cares but now the playgrounds are almost made and they will be so grand until the reader arrives here the sports sector will be high class
Admission
The eligibility requires CUET-ICAR exam rank and gives admission on that. Also the rank cutoff is low such as 7-8k for general for sc st it is as low as 13000 as well. Well the first reason to choose is the university is ICAR affiliated, and it is one of the three central agricultural university in India, also it is an institute of national importance, making it special
Faculty
There are 28 assistant professors and 18 scientists, professors and associate professors for 200 students (in one batch) pretty enough. Dr Bijilaxmi Devi (assistant professor) is one of the professors who teaches so well and liked by everyone. Also to be mentioned MK Singh, love his marking Scheme There are two quizzes of 10 marks each pre and post mid term which is of 30 marks ( 12 m objective and 18 marks subjective ) and there is an end term of 100 marks (40m objective and 60m subjective) is evaluated outside the campus They really don't give anyone marks above 9 cgpa Hardly the toppers cross 8.2 cgpa, the avg is 7 cgpa. The back usually comes for in an avg of 6-7 might be more in a batch
Night Life
There are one cafeteria and one general store, there is no night life for girls as they have a gate closing time at 7:30 pm and 6:30 pm in winters. For boys the gate is open whole night. The college is far away from city thus we do nothing but walk around
