Remarks

Bad, I haven't found. Good is that they love their work which is well organised. HPI is the finest college of pharmacy which have enlighten so many students life and will continue to do so.

Entrance Preview

College entrance exam. One of the finest college with finest academics in north-east. Good friendly & educative environment. Pharmacy proffesion is the upcoming education. One who loves making & selling medicine can go for this education.

Course Curriculum Overview

4 years course. Teachers are highly qualified as most of them were Ph. D.

Internships Opportunities

Most of the companies came like Nestle, Sanofi, Zydus, Sun Pharma, Cadilla, Ranbaxy, Cipla, Alkem etc.

Placement Experience

100% job opportunities with placement. One who completes B. Pharm need not wait for job. They get easily.

College Events

National Pharmacy Week is the biggest cultural program along with lot of traditional cultural program of Sikkim. One will enjoy a lot.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have not availed but yes my fellow friends have availed education loan from SBI, UBI etc

Campus Life

One can learn judo karate in hostel, play soccer, volley ball, cricket etc. Gender ratios are 50:50 for male-female. Extracurricular activities like meeting IPA, IPC etc in various places and presenting documents etc. In college one can participate in various function and learn from them.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is compulsory beside lake with continuous waterfall. Mess food are awesome and chefs are highly organised and hygiene. One can give around 3K-4k for mess food

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Senior student always helps junior. Each & every student who have completed the course in our college is in a multinational company. So we help each one to get a better job. There is an emotional bonding with seniors, juniors & classmates

Placement Experience:

from 7th semester students eligible for sitting in placement drive. companies visited like alkem, cipla zydus, zuventus, alembic etc. highest salary is 2.5 lakh per annum and lowest in 2 lakh per annum. 85% students get placed in placement drives remaining students opt for higher studies and family business. my plans after getting degree is to get the experience the field in retail sector. and do my own business . not only I will depend on one business I will generate multiple source of income form my business strategy and communication skills.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The area which influenced me to choose this course was my passion for medical science. The college gives you a hands on experience for the industry and hospitals. The teaching method is just the old fashion and the exam are too frequent leaving students burnt out

The placement of our college is the best in sikkim I would say because not only a high CGPA graduate can get a good salary job but also the low CGPA graduate holds a great chance to secure jobs.. I heard from many senior students and teachers that you are provided job based on your skills

From 8th semester students become eligible for campus placement. Many pharmaceutical companies visit from all over Sikkim for placements like Alkem , Cipla, Torrent , Zuventus etc. Highest package is 3 lpa

Placement Experience:

Students will be eligible for placement during their final semester. Companies like cipla, zydus, goldencross, alkem etc will visit the college. Initial salary range can be from 36000-15000 per month, which is considered as training fees to the students for initial time with gradual increment.

My college is very good in giving placements to students after completing of 8 semester of 4th year but before getting placement every student have to get industrial training and hospital training to do it

A look to HPI

Course Curriculum Overview:

B pharmacy is a professional course and if influenced me to choose this course This course prepares you for real world application starting from communication to discipline every thing is taught in this course one becomes very disciplined and dedicated to this course once they opt for it The improvement required is to give proper gaps between sessional and semister examination as it puts too much stress on student and the faculty at the ending rushes and completes the syllabus in a hurry without proper explaination and just gives ppts at the end and sometimes doesnt even complete the syllabus before semister exams . So i think this thing needs to be inproved Sessional examinations are not too hard but semister examinations are mild to hard

Placement Experience:

After seventh semester, students are eligible for placements. There are multiple companies such as Cipla, Alkem laboratories limited, etc. Atleast 70% of students get placements. I would like to get a placement in Alkem laboratories, and look forward in the best salary to work.

I love my College

Course Curriculum Overview:

Because of my father's Business & I want to do job in pharma company. 60% Boys & 40% girls. Teaching with good way & qualifications are also good. In one semester(6 months) there are two internal Exam & one semester exam & 50% number is needed in each & every subject to pass.

U applied to skim Manipal institute of medical science and SRM from where I got confirmed admission but u chose this college as it is nearby by home and it's easy for me and safer for me to study nearby by home . My Experience in HPI

For admission 60% marks in class 12 is required to be obtained. Admission process is not at all hectic and it's easy and convenient. No exams are conducted for admission. Admission are done on merit basis. I didn't get a rejectioj from any other colleges. I particularly applied for this institute as it is one of the oldest and best college in Sikkim.
