1st Impression of GMC Bhopal

Overall, MBBS is quite a hectic course, and given the time frame it is not sufficient to learn all the things. Therefore you must know what to study and what not. Thankfully GMC Bhopal provides you with mentors/professors who are there to help you with your studies.

This is one of the top medical colleges of MP. Faculty is very helpful and overall the infrastructure of Campus is great. Anyone who comes to this college will instantly fall in love with its mesmerizing beauty. We also have 1700 bedded hospital called Hamidia hospital which is one of the most advanced hospitals of MP. Patient flow is amazing too.

We have our annual fest called "Plexus". I do not have much information about it as I am in first year. New Lecture halls are really amazing and comparable to AIIMS. We have a sports compled and Library inside the campus which is accessible to all students.

Initially I got into NSCBMC Jabalpur, My sole reason to not take that college was that GMC Bhopal is better. Due to its proximity to my home and the overall infrastructure, GMC Bhopal is one of the top Medical Colleges of Madhya Pradesh. Admission process is completely online which promotes transparency in the process. Staff is quite helpful throughout the Admission process.

Each student is assigned a mentor and each teacher mentors atleast 2 students. You can get one-on-one interaction with your mentor and talk to the about academic as well as non academic problems. Most faculties teach with great enthusiasm towards the subject and encourage active participation in class. Internal assignments are given every week and internal marks are given on their basis. We have 1st sessional, 2nd sessional and Pre uni exams before 1st Proff.

We have a lot of places inside the campus such as JDA canteen. JDA stands for Junior Doctors Association. There is also a sports complex and Badminton Court. There is another sports complex being built which will hopefully be bigger and better.
