Course Curriculum Overview

4

Firstly i wanted to become a doctor. I was firstly afraid of joining in this college as it is new one and the college admission is mainly based on merit so not much of option i got. I got a all india rank of around 17000 and state rank of 1049 . Now i got md general medicine in kurnool medical college. So it gives you great knowledge for the seeking. Yearly one final with practicals and 3 internals which are easy one if you study moderate ly also .

Internships Opportunities

5

I had a great internship. Compulsory rotatory internship of 1 year. Where 45 days of majors like general medicine, surgery, obestretics and gynaecology. And 15-30 days for minors. You will be provided with 23,000 rupees stipend. Which is not regular but you will be paid once in 3-5 months. As post graduates are less you will be working hard but mark my words its worth

Fees and Financial Aid

I did my mbbs from GMC ongole. Previously it was semi-autonomous that is rims now it has become autonomous. I got it in my 2nd round of counselling in the general category. Course fees are 10-15k at that time and the caution deposit for the hostel is around 1k which will be refunded at the end of the course.

Campus Life

4

You need to decrease desires of having a good extra curriculum activities. They are compromised here. Less culturals inside campus. Less sports. No social groups. Library with all books and great study timing. All labs for 1st and second year are great

Hostel Facilities

5

Hostel room is provided with a fan, cot and bed, with alimarah, windows are provided with nets and you need to share it with a friend. Badminton court, television room, common bathroom for 4.5 yrs. Menu is moderate on quality. For 3.5-4k it is nice. During your admission you are asked about your willing ness tp to join a hostel. If you are willing you will be givern room there. And cost per month os 600 ruppes so it is pretty affordable.

Admission

As i previously mentioned the admission in to medical colleges are based on merit. I got a 17000 rank in neet ug exam. So during first round i got private colleges which are costly course fees around 1 lakh and hostel fees of 1 lakh. So i wanted government college.

Faculty

4

Faculty student ratio is very good as the student are 125 only so if you are interactive enough you will be having a good touch with them. And classes alone will not be adequate so you need to quality study time. Faculty will be easily approchable. The best faculty in my regards is Dr. Sandhya rani madam obg hod madam. She is very sincere anD very hard working inspires us to put hard yards every time. And coming to course curriculum it is 4.5 years + 1 year internship. 1st year anatomy, biochemistry, physiology. You will be having 3 internals and 1 final exam during all years. If you are so willing to fail. Then only you fail. 98-99 percent pass. So exams are easy only.

Night Life

4

Gym will be present in hostel campus but with less equipment. You can have 24 hrs access. Library is big but you can access from 9 am to 9 pm. Study rooms in hostel for 24 hrs. Cafeterias in hospital for 24 hrs. Girls hostel of 1st year upto 9 pm allow. Other girl yrs upto 11 pm. Boys hostel can come and go any time. Interns and post interns no limits. Best hang out place in campus in cafeteria. You can go for bike riding any time. By 1 km you can enter in to vijayawada highway.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum that we follow us CBME curriculum. That reflects the clinical knowledge blended with the general knowledge of mbbs and this curriculum suits us in terms of many applications to the practice of medicine. The difficulty level is increased for the final exams but it is good for the competition that increased in these days.

My choice for this profession is that,it gives highest level of respect It is the Profession to save the lives of people The life which was taken away by the evil can be dragged back by the doctors The first year's dissection of cadavers,2nd 3rd 4th year's gives the experience to treat any case and to overcome the fear of blood No improvements needed in our college,as everything seems perfect Timing is planned by expertise, frequency of exams is very accurate and gives boost to remember every topic

Course Curriculum Overview:

1}the specific aspect that influenced my decision are my parent and relatives who hold the social stigma of being a doctor can give a secured life whereas nowadays doctor is one of the most vulnerable profession due to the incidents that are happening recently 2}the cirriculum is not great for students when it comes to the topic of facing real world situations as being in pvt.college doesnt exopse us to vasr amount of patients and mostly the graduates dont know how to deal with patients 3}the areas that should need an improvement is in imrpoving dissection hall facilities and posting lessers members in a sysytematic way to give time for each and every student a better exposure to the patients 4}the frequency of exams is adequate enough for an above avg student to cope up with the burdensome and vast syllabus but it might be diffucult for a below avg student and my perspective of the difficulty level is somewhat tough and stressful

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually MBBS is structured in such a way that it helps students step by step to learn.. it's anything but perfect .. I am not in a position to suggest but when we are exposed to this vast world in first year which is entirely new to us,it is difficult for us to adjust. We step by step start learning to accommodate in this new world and by the time we adjust and start reading first year comes to and end and then only running,we don't have time to atleast cover our basics so that we can continue for further 3 years.. basics when we aren't aware of we can't confidently go into next years syllabus, but if we try studying basics in the next year we will be again lagging the next year syllabus and cycle goes on.. Mental pressure is the most common that we all feel and for relieving we don't have anything,no cultural activity,no sports,nothing.. that is why many are getting on the wrong side and getting addicted to phone, movies, other addictions
