An honest review

Curriculum prepares well for the real world . Some changes I would suggest are :- The practical files . They arefees too much of time taking and are totally useless. CP file , the code in the files holds no point as it is saved in our onedrive . Workshop file in the 1st sem is also pointless no one looks at it after getting it checked . So there should be some changes in the practical files Frequency of the exams is okay . Difficulty level is sometimes okay but sometimes it's quite high . Infact sometimes checking is also done quite hard.

Placements are decent as a private engineering college. This year till now approx 150/400 are placed with highest of 24LPA and lowest 4LPA . Few. Companies which visited this year are : My Job Grow Ion group JTP Zopsmart Infosys Watchguard Tech Gozo technologies Grey B Research Chorizo Smartshift

Councelling charges-25000 (one time) Caution money-20000 (refundable) Hostel charges- 160000/yr Tution fees - 202620/yr Development fee- 32500/yr Total fee-392150/yr This is the total fees of the course and fee increases annually. There is no merit or category scholarship. There is one scholarship available of Cummins . You can apply if your family income is less than 6lakhs.

Campus life is okish . We don't have any good foodstall in the campus . This yr Techfest Tayon was held in nov and cultural fest D-Equinox will be held in feb- march . There is a good range of books and journals available in the library. It's compulsory to sit for 6hrs pr week in Library in 3rd and 4th yr. Each lecture hall has projector and AC. Clg has one football ground , basketball ground, volleyball ground, cricket ground and more . JYC (juet youth club ) has many non tech clubs like dance, music, art and event, anchoring, drama, sports , media and more Tech clubs are also their like bitwise, jdsc, rospinot , ArVr, web dev and more. These clubs give a good platform to perform and also a good interaction with teachers and seniors.

3 beded rooms are provided in the hostel . Rooms are provided with bed, mattress, almirah , study table and chair. Rooms are air cooled . Common washrooms are there . 3 time meal are provided . Breaksfast lunch and dinner . Food tastes not so good . Hostels are opted during registration time only . Facilities inside the hostel are gym , swimming pool, parlour, badminton court , pantry. Rooms are nice and spacious with good ventilation. U have to bring your own curtains . Girls hostel is totally opposite to boys hostel for the safety purpose.

The admission process is not so tough . Even if u have a low score in ur jee or boards you will get the admission most probably. I choose this college because it is not so far from my house and the fees is also not so high .

Lectures are conducted in a class size of 90 students and practicals and tutorials are conducted in a class size of 30 students. There are 3 theory exams and 2 practicals per sem . Practicals are of 15 marks each . 3 Theory exams T1,T2,T3 are of 15,25,35 marks respectively. T1 are quite easier with the lesser syllabus. T2 a bit tough with 10% syllabus of T1 . T3 are the toughest with 20% syllabus of T1 and T2. Very few are not able to clear the exam usually those who are not able to clear the attendance policy.

Hostel in timings for girls is 9:30 pm . Girls hostel has its own gym , swimming pool, pantry, and parlour. Library is opened till 11:30 but if u want to sit late u have to take permission from warden . Nearby there are few resorts and small market to roam around and have some tasty food. It's safe . During weekdays u can go out from 5-6:30 pm . And on Sunday 10:00am-6:30pm.
