Adamas university from a student's prospective.

From the beginning i wanted to persue my carrier as a Scientist in medical and research fields. Therefore i chose microbiology that will lead me to the field of medicine and research. The curriculum and teaching method is all over good. As i am a first semester student i have a lot to learn but one thing i can say i do not regret coming here. Not at all.

As i am a first year student i do not know much details about the companies for internship. But there are several students who went to Italy and Germany for internships as well. The internship starts after the end of 6th semester.

The placement is good but i do not want that. My plans are to get an avg of 8 cgpa overall and opted for phd in microbiology in Germany/USA. Then i will come to india and persue my carrier as a scientist.

The course fee is 72000 per semester. The duration of the course is 4 years if you are opting for (hons) degree. The hostel fee per semester is 86700. I opted for double bed AC therefore the fee is 86700. There are many choices available according to your budget. There are scholarships available for different merits. I don't know much details about those. The fee is stable and not increasing.

The campus life is nice. The capus is green. There are a lot of clubs including sports, dance, music, social work, biotech, machine learning, coders club etc. There are a lot of cultural and fun fest. One thing i know that i am living here for 6 months now and i don't get bored here although i am a very homesick person.

I opted for a double bed AC room so my fees for a semester is 86700. There are also triple bed, double bed, single bed with AC and non ac facility available according to your budget. Hostel rooms inclued AC, 24/7 Electricity, geyser in bathroom, lift facility etc.Meal quality is good and the amount is sufficient. If you are a non vegetarian then this place is for you. But if you are a vegetarian well you have to adjust your expectations.

I opted for both govt and private colleges. If i am talking about government university there was no microbiology course with research therefor i didn't opted for those. I also opted for Parul university, JECRC university and DU and got into all of those but those were far from home and i wanted to live as close as possible to my home which is in Odisha. So i choose Adamas as it is 5-6 train ride from my home city. Talking about the admission process i gave their online entrance exam in which i scored 96%. They gave me a 6000 discount on my course fee. The admission process was smooth and fast.

We have six subjects in the first semester. The faculty students ratio is 1:40. There are friendly and eager to help. I don't have a favorite. They all are so kind to me. There are 2-3 asesament exams per semester. Also there are several projects, assignments all of them a total of 50 marks out of 100 including final practical and viva exam. The final theory exam carries 50 marks out of which 18 is the passing marks. For me the exam papers are moderate with a lot of hypothetical and research based questions.

There is a gym, an ice cream parlor, one ccd and one Nescafe, and one fast food cafe and a restaurant in the campus. You will also find a laundry store, an parlor and a grocery shop in the campus. A parmacy is also there which is open for 24/7 incluing a doctor and also a ambulance. The campus is big with 5 parks inside it. There are also 4 badminton and 1 basketball court in it. There is a big football ground and one cricket ground in it.
