College Review

As the college is situated in a small place, this things work against the college, you need to shift to Gwalior if you need to do coaching for some specific course or focus on some exam keeping you PG in mind

Course is good, approved by AICTE. Mechanical and Automobile Engineering courses are the standout courses in the college. The college is affiliated to Rajeev Gandhi pradougiki Vishvavidyalay. It is a 8 semester course with 2 semester in 1 year.

The placement facilities are good. There are quite a few companies coming in the college to recruit various students across disciplines. Automobile Engineering is a very renowned course in college. Other courses such as Mechanical engineering, Information and technology, Computer Science Engineering are also showing great promise.

Various events from time to time are celebrated in college, however the lack of auditorium restricts the scale at which the events are held. There is a yearly Annual Function held at Bsf Academy. Other events such as Vishwakarma Pooja, Teachers day, Fresher's Party and Farewell party are regular. Also various other types of workshops, events , quizzes, competitions are regular in the college.

It is Feasible, The yearly tuition was around 60k when I joined in 2013, however it might be more than that now. Also , the yearly exam form are to be filled once for every semester payable to RGPV university.

There are various scholarship available, since the college gives 50 percent seats to border security force and CISF wards. The prime Minister scholarship helps them with around 24k per year. For students belonging to SC/ST/OBC students , there is scholarship available given by the Central government.

There are many extracurricular activities available for doing. The college has very high standards set for sports as many ward sport defense background. Labs for IT, CSE and EC are very good, however the labs for Mechanical and Automobile Engineering need renumeration.

The college has a good culture regarding students relationship, As tekanpur is a small town and many day scholars live in the vicinity, there is a close relationship between students across various branches.

I appeared for Pre Engineering Test held by Madhya Pradesh technical education. After which I filled in counselling for different state level colleges of Madhya Pradesh. I got selected for Mechanical engineering branch in RJIT.

The faculties are not that great barring some selected number of teachers. You'll have to learn much of your course yourself. Most of the times , the teachers are not looking forward to teach , especially the permanent teachers.
