- Our college provide good faculty staffs and the college atmosphere was included with nature
- The infrastructure of the college was too good and the faculty members are so friendly
- This college consists of around 20 laboratories and the Library was too big
Dislikes
- The didn't allow us to use our mobile phone if some staff watch us using mobile phone they will seize during the interva it's quite irritating
- The benches and classrooms were too old and lot of dust deposited on the benches and walls
- Restrooms were not clean most of the sanitary wares were broken they didn't fix it
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose e CSE I like computers from my childhood which have influenced me to choose CSE the staffs were much interested in practical that helps us for real world applications all the methods of teaching were so much practical so there is no need of any suggestions for improvements they are conducting one exam per day the exams were quite difficult and I belive the the future depends on computer so I took this course
Internships Opportunities
many companies like lenova TCS foxcon are ready to provide internship even higher position like hr, tl posts are offered to the students with high cgpa the highest salary pack of last year was 31.5 lakhs they are very supportive for all the projects and outcomes
Placement Experience
After 6th semester students are ready for the placements companies like lenova, TCS ,foxcon, and other MNC companies were part of the placements they provide around 40 seats for each companies the placements percentage was over 79 percentage my plan after getting degree was to do master of engineering in CSE
Fees and Financial Aid
Per year 70k for government quota students and 100k fo management students 5k admission fees 4025rs exam fees per semester and 250rs record fees for sc/st category people tution fees are completely free they have to pay only exam fees and half of the hostel fees for normal students hostel fees is around 80k for frst graduate people they provide 25k scholarship
Campus Life
They are well focussed on studies only only two festivals ar conducted per year they are annual day and sports day as I told already our collage has the biggest library which consist around 69k books which is worth of 1.49cr each classroom consist of a projector for technical uses they give more importance for sports but there are no ocial groups or clubs only consist of ncc and nss infrastructure was good and clean there are four blocks
Admission
I applied for saranathan college of engineering ,Anna University (Trichy),MIETEC I only prefered CSE course and I got government quota seat in MIETEC for CSE so I took it but I got seat from all above college but I prefer MIETEC because this college was oldest college and I like their infrastructure,MIETEC have both management and government quota they did not accept any exam their your cut off should be more than 120 to enter this college the admission process were good
Faculty
Most of the faculty members were too friendly for example our class coordinator Manikandan assistant professor chemistry he like our good friend and his way of teaching was too good he approche all the students and ask them politely they have any doubt like him all the faculty members were friendly they are averagely 12 yrs experienced we ca give 5 stars for our faculty members
Night Life
There is a gym for hostellers open onle morning library was closed around 7pm as our college was outside the city there was no special hoanout spots and the locality was very safe which includes a police station near the entry gate but there is only one cafeteria which was annoying and it opens only in afternoon during working days
