Course Curriculum Overview

4

As Indian agriculture based economy so agriculture has hug impact on the people's life. So I prefer this course. The encouragement of Bhu gives as different ways to face the challenges in life and make us to understand it better. I would like to suggest for basic improvement like students self confidence increasing program and other programs toake them more promotes There is a little difficult to face the exam as time is really short for preparation for it.

Internships Opportunities

5

Internship opportunities was for only 4th year students and they are manage by bhu itself by dividing the students into groups and give their importance of internship opportunities and also pay for this internship opportunities.

Placement Experience

5

For placement the university take a student of 3rd i.e. from 6th semester onwards. Companies like Pradhan fertilizer, other private limited company's. Heights package is ?1300000 lakhs only. Overall 90% students get placement in this. My plans to open a Narsary and Orchard of fruit plants.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for B.sc.(Hons.) Agriculture at Banaras Hindu University (BHU) Varanasi, is affordable compared to many institutions. The yearly fees include the tution fee, examination, sports and other charges. 1.Tution Fee: ?10000 per year. 2.Hostel Charges: ? 5000 per year excluding mess fee. 3.Mess fee: ?3500 per month. 4 Mostly their is no such extra charge. There are many festival are arranged by management and students also to develop a great bond and for enjoyment. The central library in BHU holds the record of maximum available of books. It is easily assesible to all the students of university and good to study their. There is a sports month in BHU starts form 13 oct to 25 Nov for students which includes different kinds of sports like cricket valleyball, chesse, carrom etc. One of our senior in BHU provides us good notes.

Admission

I have applied for a number of colleges one of the college is LPU punjab for agriculture, but I choose BHU over LPU due to its placement and infrastructure. I have been rejected from other institutions like ICAR New Delhi for my mark , I can't score enough to get a seat in their. BHU takes admission through Competative exams like CUET and its own exam.

Faculty

4

The university is established by MADAN MOHAN MALAVIYA in 1918 about 106 years . The faculty of this university has a great relationship with the students which helps students to great understanding. They treat as their family members. I actually like the Horticulture faculty because of my interest and have a great professers to assisting us. I actually don't like the NSS faculty because they have not taken a class till now as we already admitted 2 months ago. There are 2 semester in a year and 2 midterm and 2 practical exam. Almost all students cleared the exam as they passed the exam. The question came from class notes.

Interview Experience

4

Group discussion is on topic like rural life will being and their care. For admission in BHU we have to go through Competative exams like CUET and its own exam and ICAR other exams. I study hard and have a dream to study in India's best institute so I carck the exam and took a admission in BHU.

Placement Experience:

The placements for the B.Sc Agriculture course at Invertis University are growing but may not be very high compared to technical courses. Some companies visit the campus for agriculture-related roles such as agri-input companies, seed companies, fertilizer companies, and marketing positions. Students with good communication and technical knowledge usually get good opportunities. However, not every student may get a direct campus placement.

Students get placed in starting of 4th year that is 7th semester. The companies that often visit are pradhan co.pvt.ltd, seed companies and drone companies also companies like Nestle and britannia visit for placements. Highest ctc in 2025 was 19LPA and the avg was 7.5 LPA these data are also available on nirf site. Nearly 30% students get placed because remaining prefer higher studies over placement, those who are financially weak consider placement. My plans are different, I'm preparing for CAT and want to persue mba in agribusiness management from iim ahmedabad or iim lucknow.
