- The campus is really good. It's really open and airy and it feels alive to be there.
- The plants and plantations they maintain simple deserves a lot of appreciation. They provide a relief after the hectic college hours.
- Hostel facilities are pretty nice too. They have an accommodation of two people in a room, in which they have separate washroom and bathroom in every room.
Dislikes
- The maintenance is needed for infrastructure.
- Applications need to be responded little earlier.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course needs to be updated a little. Rest other things are fine about the course. The first year includes studying engineering of all branches so that we have an idea of overall engineering and basic knowledge in every field of it. Next three years are when we learn about the core subjects.
Placement Experience
The students are eligible for placements from the 7th semester, or 4th year of engineering. There are various companies like Infosys, Wipro, Myntra and TCS, etc. the lowest package can be as low as 3-4 LPA and the highest could go as high as 40 LPA. 80% of the students get placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure for Btech computer science and engineering course at IIMT University, Meerut is approximately Rs. 1,25,000 per year. Additionally, the university offers hostel facilities with fees Rs. 1,00,000 for one year approx and this increases every year 10-15 thousand.
Campus Life
There are regular fests happening in the campus like cultural fest, technical fest, dandiya nights, alumni meet and other things as well. There is a wide range of books present in the library. There are smart boards in every classroom. Apart from this, there are clubs like creativity club, coding club and cultural club as well.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities are really nice. They have an accommodation of two in each room, bot AC and non AC. There are seperate washroom and bathroom facilities in each room so that hygiene is maintained with no hassle. There is 24hr water connection, electricity and Wi-Fi connections enabled. The fees is 100000 per year and that includes mess as well where you get food 4 times a day.
Admission
Here, IIMT University we get through admission process through a eligibility criteria as the college provides us with a wide range of both technical and non technical courses. So, we get discounts based on our 12th percentage, and on CUET and GATE.
Faculty
The faculties of IIMT University are pretty experienced people with doctrates and PhD and some with Masters pursuing PhD. They are really supportive, mind and solution-oriented people who support you not just in academic but non academic activities like startups as well.
Interview Experience
Actually there was a casual interview session but there was nothing too hectic that you have to be scared of. There were normal questions about what you have studied, where are you from, what are you interested in studying, and why do you wish to pursue that specific course.
Night Life
If is safe here to roam around, except when there are monkeys inside the campus. Seems awful but it is. For girls, the hostel in timing is 7pm at night and for boys it is 9pm. You have to get a pass from the warden everytime you go out. Night life is good inside the campus as well. There are cafeterias, gyms, swimming pool, basketball court, and a beautiful mandir too where you can spend your after college time.
