VIT VELLORE CAMPUS REVIEW

*FFCS is system in vit allows students to opt their intrested courses during the semester *The classes are of 45 time period which they waste 20 min by taking attandance or something other than subject *And during exams some slots gets easy question paper and another gets difficult

*In VIT students from 7th semester are allowed to sit in placements *Many companies visited VIT like MICROSOFT, AMAZON, GOOGLE, MOTORQ, SAMSUNG,IBM,...etc *Previous year (2023) two students bagged highest package of 1.2 cr from MOTORQ company. *This year also 2 students bagged 1cr from MOTORQ company. *90% students sure will be placed *My plans after getting degree is to get a job in a reputated company

*I'm paying early 550000 including tuition fee , hostel, mess *I'm a computer science student and I got seat under catagory 3 , so my fee structure is around 400000/year. Caution fee-5000 Admission fee-1000 Other fee structures Category 1- 175000 Category 2- 250000 Category 3- 400000 Category 4- 450000 Category 5- 490000

*There's an event called RIVIERA conducted annually, and many celebrities will participate in this event *Vit has the best library in campus called PERIYAR library where you can get any book you prefer *Technology is quite good in classes like smart boards projectors.. *Weekly there are many events will be going on for sports and extracurricular activities. *There are more than 150+ clubs and chapters in vit like robotics club, Photography club and debate club...etc

*Inside room there are facilities like basic depending on the type of room if room is AC the AC will be provided and it works really good and if it's non AC it would be difficult to sleep at night *There 3 types of mess's in VIT ... SPECIAL, VEG, NON VEG *for hostel registration except 1 year , students are allowed to take rooms based on their ranks and one student can take a room and allow his friends to settle in his room depending on the type of bed *There are quite good PGS around vit which are under budget

*First I applied for SRM Chennai campus but I came to know that the hostels in srm are not good . *I didn't get any rejections from the colleges I applied. *The admission process in vit is quite normal like others , after applying for Vit by 1000 fee, You need write an entrance exam called VITEEE which will be conducted only once. After results you need to sit in councelling which costs 6000 for applying counselling. In councelling you need to choose the desired college and course to get degree.

Each class contains 70 students There are upto 7 slots like A,B,C,D,E,F,G there are also subslots like A1 ,A2 ..which means morning and afternoon The best faculty I had in my 6 semesters is uma Maheshwar for compiler design and balaji N for operating systems. I cannot say i didn't like this faculty but i felt a bit of strictness during markings is dr.umadevi for computer networks

*My favourite hangout spots in vit is DOMINOS , FOODIES,GREENOS *There are 2 paid gyms and one free gym inside campus *Students must be inside hostel before 9 pm *There are many places outside vit to hangout like TARAMA best for budget friendly restaurant, and INOX movie theatre..
