- The college timing is good as it allows us to use the rest of the day well.

Course Curriculum Overview
The college is following the CCF system of Calcutta University. This was implemented after the NEP Policy of 2020. The teaching methods are good, the college tries it's best to reach out to professionals and conduct seminars to bring us more insights
Fees and Financial Aid
We are to pay approx 86k for the first year. I have already paid 43k for semester 1. This semester 1 fees includes admission fees and other one time charges. There are scholarships available to students securing more than 90% but that is dependendable on the decision of the administration and management team.
Campus Life
The clubs in the college is referred to as Collectives. There are good number of them. We have learned to manage both collectives with studies, and that is really a wonderful time at college. A single classroom can hold around 80-100 students. But the right wing class can hold more then 120 students.
Admission
I gave my CUET UG-2024 and wished to get into DU but due to family restrictions I could not move out of Kolkata. To choose from colleges in Kolkata that give lectures in English and is under Calcutta University, BESC was the best choice. The admission is merit based and one can apply when the portal opens in the month of April.
Faculty
The faculty student ratio is 1:80. The professors are very friendly and are approachable attitude any point of time. There will be 6 semester exams for students taking the 3 yrs course while those who qualify for the 4th year are supposed to give two more semester exams.
Night Life
There is a canteen but with veg food. The Libra is spread over 5000 sq.m. The turf area and the canteen is the favourite hangout place for all Be-Ites. There are a various cafes and small restaurant where one can fine Bhawanipur students.
