Bit mesra honest review

I would recommend you to take the cs course as it's the easiest and the best course to do at bit.The course would be easy because they help you focus more on your personal programming growth rather than your studies.when it comes to other branches like mine ece is the worst they just torcher you in that place.fhe curriculam in bit is very old and I don't think so it's the best for current circumstances and isn't that helpful for a student .the curriculum for the first year is fine but some things are very much unnecessary and instead of that if they could implement some other subjects such as coding in different languages that would have been better.the college hosts exams at October month and December month.theree is end sem and mid sem exams.

The internship as of last year is only seven students getting placed for any companies and few of them got a stipend of 50k.but the internship scene in bit is not good and has to be promoted by the administration butthe administration is always behind money and counting you your mistakes.its all based on what extra you do for yourselves orelse it's useless to be in bit

Campus placement has been decreasing in a few years as of 2024.because the previous year there were only 7 companies for placement but it had placed many students but the problem is internship..students don't get internship from college and have to find by their own. I guess 50 % of students only get placed in bit from each branc and I don't expect a placement from this college as of its circumstances

The yearly fees at bit mesra is too expensive,the yearly fees officially at website is 164500 per sem at website but they officially charge you 184500.Its an autonomous private University hence they charge you as they wish.When it comes to tuition fees it is 90000.It applies for all the students including SC ,ST and OBC students.The college provides a scholarship to all category students if they maintain a good cg according to their branch.Students who get above 9 cg don't have to pay the fees.

The college is full of fests but the main event is bitotsav which is a waste of time to be honest because the college does not give money for the fest..it's all based on the students.the library is shit.its hard to get anything in the library andis more of sleeping zone for students.sports only football is good and nothing else including g crciket.the college has many clubs but only the coding clubs are useful

You get wifi in room and nothing else.it has a fan and a table and a bed that's it...and a student does not need much but the washrooms are the worst.it forces you to buy a house out of bit.the meals in the mess are fine and managemeable but you cannot have it everyday .u don't easily get rooms out of bit because bit costs you a lot of you are doing that as it still includes your hostel fee.

I had gone to bit through jee mains.at the time it was a good college but now it's just behind money so it does not focus on students much to be honest and whereas it comes applying for different colleges I was getting different branches in almost all nits but my father suggested me to go to bit.the admission process in bit is smooth,when the matter comes to money bit is always ahead.

In bit one semester goes on for 3 months but including holidays it only goes on for 2 months and the other time it's only holidays.The student to faculty ratio is not that great as for each department then don't have enough professors because I had an issue with one of my subjects that was probability where they had shortage of professors.Few professors are too good,just the best in the field for students,but few professors are unapproachable.You just can't ask them or do anything about them.For me the best faculty are Gauri Shanker gupta electriccal engineering department aminul IslamECE department ,rajvardhann rayphysics department.All other faculties arent that great for me specially ss pathakprobability.he just wanted money and they just made papers which were unsolvable by the students and then did not give marks also.exams in bit mesra aren't that hard to be honest but it's based on the professors mood,if you don't behave well they make tough papers and if you behave well they are most friendly profs that anyone can have.

As the campus is huge there are many cafeterias in diffenre locations but all the things are mainly towards main campus.other then that the campus is spread out across a wide 800 acre land with forests in the middle.there are total 13 hostels in bit.the college timings are morning 6am to 9pm in night.the only hangout place in bit is PMC and ic.
