- The culture of nit Raipur is very good , the clubs and communities are excellent, fest are of top class
- The infrastructure of the college is also best so you can spend a lot of time in the campus also ,
- The canteens are good ( Bihan, and vachan) and infront of the college you can get the nit chowpati, so availability of food is quite good 😋
Dislikes
- Proper land is not utilizes in the campus , a lot of waste land is kept that must be used to make campus the best
- The ground is very poor , in some parts very big grases are there , and the ground is not maintained
- We have only 2 practical labs in a week so we get very less time to understand and learn the practical knowledge
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum of nit Raipur is not that good , the college will not make you ready for the placement oriented, by clubs and commmities we get to learn a lot , in biomedical the placement is also low become of lack in practical knowledge, by increasing the number of practicals we get more ready for placement but here practical classes are very less , Exams - For each semester we have to give mid and end semester and while exams we do not get any leave ( if Sunday do not comes in paper )
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure of nit Raipur is 1lakh 50 thousand for 1 years , 75k for 1 semester but as I have income between 1 to 5 lakhs so I will have to play only the 1/3rd or the fee in each semester , my some friends who have an annual income below 1 lakh will have to pay only 50k - 70k for whole 4 years , so the course affordability becomes more higher as the fee becomes low according to your income
Campus Life
Avartan, eclectica , shourya, Shruti, and a lot of fest are organised in nit raipur by each clubs and commetie, most of the fest are held in January The library of the college is very good , a lot of books for the competitive exams are also kept and a huge variety of books are also available Sports facilities of college is very poor, for cricket and football there is no proper marking Clubs make you grow very much they make you learn a lot of practical knowledge which helps in placements
Admission
I have applied in bit durg only by cgpet as I wanted to be in chhattisgarh only so whe you search for the best college in btech in chhattisgarh so you get iiit naya raipur, iit bhilai,nit raipur, but durg, so I couldn't make to iit bhilai and iiit nr as my jee rank was not that good so I was only having options in bit durg ans nit Raipur, so I chossed nit raipur because of the placement and nit tag , also bit durg is semi government college so I kept it as backup nit raipur except admission through jee mains, I got 91.2 percentile in jee mains by which I got admission in nit Raipur , i do not do a penny of regret by choosing nit raipur over bit durg, as nit has a lot of advantages over bit,
Faculty
The faculties of nit Raipur are average, some facilities are very nice , they try their best to explain the concepts for me ( Deepika agrawal mam for data structure and juhi mam for computer programming) they also reduce the topper marks so that the passing marks gets lower so that everyone can pass , some facilities are very rude they give marks to only those students which write the answers from their class notes, they do not care what you have written. The exams level is moderate, for some subjects the difficulty level is high example -biomedical, many students have got supply in this subject
Night Life
Gym is bad , it is in very small room, and it is only opened for only 2 hours, in 2 hours the gym is very full and conjusted, Inside college - bihan and vachan, Outside campus - nit chowpati, Anna Panjabi and a lot of restaurant The place is very safe , but as it is in highway road so traffic Is very high after 6
