In an overall impression our college is quite good in all aspects be it's sports, academics or extra-curricular activities. The faculties are very helpful and supportive so are our seniors and alumni network.

The course is nice. Previously controled by Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad University of Technology (previously WBUT), but now it is autonomous and follow their own examination as well as curriculum. Our college has merged a few subjects that is to be completed in one semester which used to be completed in simultaneous semisters.

In case of placements our college brings up many companies for placements. Amongst then Capgimini, Cognizant are the main placement providing companies. But incase of interships our college don't provide much, neither allows many internships. But our college provides many trainings.

Our college celebrates the Freshers Welcome party every year to welcome the freshers. A big event celebrated but out college is the Hackatron in kolkata participated by many colleges all over kolkata. As well as it celebrates it's own cultural fest(Zyvya) and Technological fest(Tesseract) every year.

After being an autonomous institute the overall fee structure sums up to 4.05 lacks rupees divided into 8 semisters of an average of 40,000 rupees to 50,000 rupees per semester. Though in addition to 40,000 rupees in first year, a sum is taken for book banks, gymnasium, sports, security deposits which make the fees for first month of an approximate amount of 83,000 rupees.

I had not opted for any loans but my friends who opted for loans told that our college has a loan facility that is in association with bajaj finance. In case of scholarship top 5 students who successfully scores above 80% are provided with scholarships upto 40,000/- rupees every semesters.

Our college has well maintained labs. They actively takes part many extra-curricular activities like many of those social activities. In case of sports our college is amongst the best Engineering College cricket teams in Kolkata winning lots of private tournaments of other Engineering Colleges. It supports sports in all aspect be it cricket football, volleyball, basket ball or any indoor games.

The seniors are really helpful in all perspective. They help us in academic perpose as well as they help us in extra-curricular activities. The tips provided by them help us a lot in succeeding different examinations and for applying for any special trainings and all.

I gave Ampii entrance exam whose counseling let me to choose amongst different colleges under JIS group. Amongst those colleges our college was the best. Even I got the chance of pursuing my dream course, that is Computer science Engineering.

In our college the faculties are really very helpful. They help us in both curricular as well as non-curricular activities. They help us making projects as well as support in sports. Even they actively participate in most of our extra-curricular activities.
