Likes

One thing that i really liked about this college is that it has a lot of events which helps students to showcase their talents.
I really like that the teachers are very friendly and helpful.
I really like the college environment and it's really fun.

Dislikes

The fees is more on the higher side. It could have been a little less
No scholarship provided and every category students have to pay the same amount of fees
Placement are not good, even though the college provides placement but not many students get placed.

Course Curriculum Overview

The teaching methods of this college are really good as the teachers use modern teaching tools like smart boards and laptops. The exams are moderate to difficult. The exams are usually 2-3 hours long.

Fees and Financial Aid

I've paid 50,000 rs per year for this course. There is not admission fees. Scholarships are also not given. All the categories of students have to the same amount of fees for this course. The fees differs from course to course.

Campus Life

There are a lot of events that are held in the college on a monthly basis. Every festival is celebrated like holi, National festival, navratri, etc. Yearly Events like umang is also held, many artists also visit the campus. The library of the college is really good and it provides us with very good books. Monthly competitions are also held like sports, music, dance, painting, etc. The extra curricular activities do not effect student's studies.

Admission

I did not apply in any other colleges other than this college because the teachers of this college are really good and they use modern teaching techniques to teach students and a lot of events take place in this college which helps the students to showcase their talents and enjoy their college life along with studies

Faculty

The teaching methods and course curriculum is really good. Modern teaching techniques are used to teach the students. Smart boards and laptops are used for teaching. The examination usually takes place for about 2-3 hours and the difficulty level is moderate to tough

Night Life

There are a lot of gyms, cafeterias, restaurants, etc around the college. There are a lot of hangout spot and even during the night the area around the college is very lively. There are a lot of pgs for students near the college. The area is super safe during the night even for girls. Some famous hangout spot:- Tier patty Forum mall Chill maar cafe Marbellas

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The exams were conducted very soon in few semester only giving 3 months for the students to prepare . the professors were good at teaching and somehow used to complete the syllabus

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

I applied to scottish church, jaipuria college and goenka college of commerce Got confirmed from the first two but bhawanipur had the best discipline , teacherd and a smooth easy process and the best campus.it has a ragging free enviroment which is best for me . I applied only for besc and I entered I didn't use quota admission Minimum masks for entry be 65% in best of 4 for evening batch whereas 85% for morning batch (can be changed on the points of performance and talents) there is no age limit for entry The admission process was easy i.e fill out admission form online check name on the admission list released pay the admission fee + yearly fees submission of form in college health check up in college collect your Identification card and you are enrolled in bhawanipur education society college...Read More
