Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is same as that of Harvad Business School's MBA in Business Economics programme. 1 final exam every semester with some internal scoring as well which is decided by the teacher incharge.
Placement Experience
Average Stipend (2019 batch) : 25000, Average Package (2018 batch): 9.5lpa. Yes we have both internship and final placement opportunities at college itself. Majority of the firms visiting our department offer analytics profile.
College Events
Corporate Communication session: 1 corporate expert every week for guest lecture Freshers party, Genesis, Vishleshan (flagship analytics event) Markibiz (Marketing event), Moolyankan (Finance event) Arthniti (Economics event) Pahal (Social initiative event)farewell party.
Fee Structure And Facilities
12500 per year, if compared with any other insititute offering MBA this is one of the most feasible fee structure. This college ranks 3 in terms of return on investment only after Faculty of Management studies and Department of Finance.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship facility is available only for only 2 students, 1 from each batch on the basis of merit list or final admission shortlist. 3 students are selected who go through interview and out of 1 receives the scholarship.
Campus Life
A very active sports club which organizes event every now and then, outstanding library with thousands of hard and soft copies of relevant course material.Lush green campus with court available for a few sports.
Hostel Facilities
There is hostel facility availability, but since I have not opted for it I cannot go into details about it. It costs approximately 4000 per month including twin sharing room for first year students and single sharing for final year students
Alumni/Alumna
45 year old department has thousands of alumni sitting in every prestigious post in every renowned organizations possible in India and abroad, including United Nations as well. Alumni network is very helpful
Admission
Take CAT, apply for college separately, college will release a shortlist on the basis of CAT score and previous marks in 10, 12 and graduation. Shortlisted candidates have to go through a group discussion round and personal interview, and on the basis of all above criteria a final shortlist is released for accepted candidates.
Faculty
Most of the faculty is already a Ph.D. in their subject of expertise or are a fellowship student at some prestigious university in India or abroad. Most of the faculty are permanent employees of the University of Delhi and for rapidly changing subjects, we have subject matter experts as visiting faculties.
