Remarks
Among all the other engineering colleges, even mine college has an extra edge as it is a part of the Sinhgad College group. But on the other hand there is also a scope of improvement in the college regarding the student life.
Course Curriculum Overview
Engineering is a good technical course of four years. The exam structure of engineering is as follows, for the first and second year there are two online examination of 25 marks each and an end sem exam of 50 marks. For next two years there's 30 marks insem and 70 marks endsem exam.
Placement Experience
There are various opportunities for training and placement in my college. During the last of our bachelor of engineering degree different companies from different domains come to recruit students to work for them.
College Events
There are various events organised by our college every year. These events include technical events as well as cultural events. Many types of competitions are also organised within this period for the students to test their skills.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure of our RMD Sinhgad College of engineering is like most of the engineering colleges all around. The fees structure amounts to a total of around 98 thousand rupees. Out of which a major portion is tution fees.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is no such thing as a scholarship from the college side but the AICTE has an option for tution fees waiver scheme for few students among all those who wish to avail the scheme in which the entire tuition fees in waived off.
Campus Life
There are different types of extra curricular activities carried out by the management of my engineering college. Annual Gathering, sports events and competitions, special themed days and many more things.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni which means the students who were studying in the same college but are now pass out were very helpful and informative about anything in the college or regarding the syllabus or the study material which was new to us.
Admission
In 2014 I had appeared for the 12th board exams and IIT-JEE exam and the admissions were also done on the basis of combined percentile of both exam results as follows12th PCM marks and IIT-JEE exams.
Faculty
In my college there are different faculties from different backgrounds. All the faculties are good, friendly and cooperative. The teaching methods of the staff are very innovative and creative, by which students find it interesting.
