A broad minded fresher

I am currently pursuing MBA in Finance. And the name of the course is MBA+PGPFM. MBA is conducted by the Vidyasagar University and PGPFM is conducted by the college and it has been designed in such a way so that one can enhance their knowledge and implement those knowledge in real life

Several companies come to offer internship opportunities to the students of BIBS. And the stipend also varies from company to company. Companies such as Kotak Mahindra Bank, SBI,etc they offer internship opportunities

Placement process begins at the end of quadmester. Lots of companies visit BIBS evey year to recruit students of BIBS. Companies such as Aditya Birla Mutual Fund, Euromonitor, PWC,EY,etc. Average package offered is 4.75L and maximum package offered here was 13L

Detailed fee structure is as follows: Course fee is taken in 7 installments 20000, 40000, 122000, 86000, 96000, 96000, 122000, 62000 This is the fee structure of current year. It might differ in the next year. Previous year, the course fee was 6.08 L. This year, the course has been increased to 6.48L

There are many events in BIBS which occur throughout the year. Name of the events are Jashn, Team day and Theme day, Startup challenge,A2A, USP,etc. Books and bags are provided by the college itself. In case, the need to access the library arises, they can do that too. Library facility is available here

The reason I chose BIBS is because of the depth in placement it has. Someone who has cleared CAT,MAT can take admission in BIBS. Admission test and admission interview is conducted here. If someone clears that, they can get the admission

All the faculty members are very supportive. They are very supportive and are available 24/7 for the student. Well, there is not a single faculty whom I dislike. Every teacher has their own unique way of teaching. All faculty members are very knowledgeable. Now, coming to the exam pattern. There are quad exams which are conducted by the college and Semester exams are there as well which is conducted by the Vidyasagar University. In addition, there are several other certification exams as well

At first, a written test was conducted. Which consisted questions of maths, english. In the interview round, I was asked questions related to Finance, Accountancy and general knowledge questions. The written test was of 100 marks and the interview was of 100 marks as well

Classes start from 9:30 AM and it is continued till 5 PM(During summer). And during winter, classes start from 10AM and continued till 5PM. Hangout places available outside the college is Rabindra Sarobar lake. The college is located near Ballygunge Cultural Association which is about 5 to 10 minutes away from Gariahat. I am not sure whether the locality is safe to roam around at night or not because me myself, I come back home after our classes end.
