The story of the college of technology and engineering udaipur.

On the positive side our college stands on the first position in the state. It has good infrastructure good facilities good faculties and awesome seniors but on the negative side the college is weak in conducting knowledgeable seminars and other activities for proper development of a student. The techfesr and cultural fest has to be improved.

As i am a student of civil engineering,the course is outdated but its ohk in this stream. The basic knowledge is always alive. We have our midterms after 1-2 months of the starting of the semester of 20 marks and after 2 more months we have our semester exams of 80marks. Each subject have defined credits.

Placements are ok I mean we don't have too much placements from our college campus but students achieve placements from outside that is off campus. The major company that came for the placement is vadanta , the pursue about 2-4 students and offers 8lakhs salary, few more companies came with an offer of 4 to 5 lacs salary. We have placement cell to conductors placement exams and interview.

College conducts annual Techfest and culture fest with The techfest is not that much good I mean the decoration and the events are not organised well but the cultural fest is awesome. We have dance competitions singing competitions extempo and many more but it's not that much good with respect to other institutions so I request if you are interested in co curricular activities this college is not for you.

The fee structure per semester is 35000 in addition to 10000 of college development fees. In addition to the college development fees. we have our library fee that is 5000 rupees and hostel fee is also nominal ranging from 20000 to 28000 as according to the year.

College provide scholarships for agriculture students and mining students and few seats are available for Poor students with having good marks. the agriculture students get scholarships of about 10000 rupees, the female students also get scholarships. Instead of these two branches we don't have that much scholarship schemes. college provide 30000 rupees to the topper of each branch in 3rd year.

We have several Groups for each extra curricular activities like dance group, singing group, photography group we call them clubs and there are regular meetings over there regarding the practice and knowledge sharing. we have Labs in our department, the quality of the Machines installed in the labs are poor as its been 30 to 40 years from the time of installing, few of the Machines never works properly but our college is trying to buy good machines every year.

In our college there are hostels for 1st year, 2nd year, 3rd year and 4th year and 1 hostel for PHD students the hostel are really so good the structure is not that much good. there are two floors in each hostel with two beds, 2 chairs two tables and a good large room for each couple of students. the hostel food is really bad I want pursue it as the protein content is very very less. So in one hand they provide good rooms in our budget but on other their food quality is so worst.

The senior students are very much helpful we called sir they guide us whenever we want help they help us in providing various information and knowledge about our subject and tell us about the opportunities and facilities in our department and branch.

First of all appear in jee mains, after the results fill the form of reap and submit the initials like 12 marksheet, jee main numbers. Then wait for the merit list. There are 3 rounds of merit list. Last one is called spot round.

To be clear, right now in our department we have 5 permanent faculty that means they are aged, experienced and have a vast knowledge about there subjects. In addition to this we have few like 8-10 guests Faculty which are now experienced but have good knowledge. All in all you would be satisfied with the faculty.
