Course Curriculum Overview

3

Students who are preparing to NET - JRF, GATE, exams, for them the cirriculum is really best and relevant and it accomodates almost the syllabus covered in competitive exams too. Coverage of syllabus takes some time, still they make us understand concepts that are important. Anyhow passing the exams are really tough still they can smoothen the way they correct the paers.

Fees and Financial Aid

i pay 29540 rupees as fees for tution for my course (Msc chemistry). it different from department ot department. for st and st its completely differnt, fees are comparatively less for them than the student s of obc and general. scholarships are there for everyone who are studying in the campus.

Campus Life

3

Ankur is the annual fest conducted in our college which happens either in March or april whole univeristy participates in the cultural and sports. it will be so exciting to get into it. students run groups are there, and sometimes because of this Fights happens, quarrel happens. Library is extradonary which huge college and it is accessible with id card only.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel has 24/7 wifi facility. Currently the hostel mees food is the worst. water and electricity in the hostel are not sure that when it will go off. Hostel admission is done aftersome days after completetion of college admission, for us it was though online mode, now its made offline mode.

Admission

After completing my ug I just wrote cuet entrance exam and just gave this one college as my preference and after clearing it, i just got admission the merit. admission in this college is completely based on the merit score and lost though the open councelling.

Faculty

4

Each student in the class cant be monitored by the teacher, so they try to focus on all without fail. there are lot of reasons to like them, one is the way they teach which is unique from others, their teaching is more than expected levels. HOD "Doddi" Sir is the best. they solve all our doubts at any time. exams are conducted in semester terms and each of them has 2 IA exams.

Night Life

4

All basic amenities are available in the campus as professors also reside in the campus so it is made available for all who are their in the campus. famours places are in the city from the college it will take half an hour to teach and enjoy over there. Campus doesnt have any timing and all if you are late you just need to provide the permission letter to the security. ID card is must in the campus. behind the campus buildings there are hilly area from which the village view can be seen and enjoyed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Food and nutrition articles in newspaper made me to take this course. As it had full scope in that time. Actually curriculum is very poor in preparing us for real world application. Practical session must include more of industrial visits and projects related to industry. We had enough time to study .

I liked this biotechnology course in degree(Bsc) and i wanted to continue this course with higher studies. Hence this university is reputed one in Karnataka.. i choose this one and I got the seat and I am very happy for this. The teaching methods are really good but it depends on particular lecturers, how they teach .. For main sem exam the time was around 3 hours for 70 marks and it was moderate and can be manageable

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is fairly distributed among the 2 years. The first year broadly covers the course work, and learning of the laboratory techniques. Followed by a mini project and a major project under a professor of interest. Stem cell biology always intrigued me and this course offered exactly what I want. The curriculum focuses on training students very rigorously to make them fit for harsh conditions and situations in the real research world.
