Detailed review on SKIT college Jaipur

i chose this course because it is a vast field to be explored and cosnidering for future endeavours i think computer science is the course i needed for the interest of developing new techs and softwares. till now in 1st sem the curricular is having 0.1% contribution in my CS journey however for this aspect i'll judge it later in upcoming years. course is really needed to be changed and certain subjects should be removed from computer science branch like EVS , TRADITION, HUMAN VALUES etc. the exam timings are very less they take two exams a day in midsems and they dont even teach at time and take extra classes at last and stress students for attendance.

till now i didnt get any internship opportunities as being a fresher but i heard there are opportunities offered by college for internships and jobs. according to seniors they do have internships in second year only . however you really have to work hard upon your skills. skills and intelligence only will give success , college's role is to give you opportunities, grabbing them is your work.

placements are average , mostly mass recruiters take the students however being a first year studdent i cant say much. companies visit like TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, COGNIZANT etc and highest was 47 lpa and lowest package idk.my plans after degree is to find a good future securing job and to develop myself for the industry as much possible.

The fee structure contains tution fees and other development charges and co-curricular activities fees , mainly the fees for the year is almost 1.2 lakh mandatory , the other fees includes the hostels or bus transportation charge and RTU exam enrollment fees. As a day scholar i only pay those 1.2 lakhs per year or 58k per semester. Scholarships are definitely available as fee waiver for those students coming in EWS category and having a nice merit. The fees is yes increasing as till last year it was 1 lakh for 1 year.

campus life is awful as there is literally no campus. its only 12 acres accesible and poor infrastructure and the sports facilities are okay not too good or not too bad. library is yes appreciated it got huge inventory and also digital library and internet access for students to learn. there are many clubs and activities for students to participate and they surely get further opportunities from these clubs. there are two main fests , one is ICI FEST and other is PRAVAH

i chose this college because of better placement opportunities compared to other colleges and also the little discipline which is practised here is okay. other college didnt have the reputation like skit and options were very less for me so i had to choose skit. i do not regret coming to my college. the admission process of admitting in skit is through REAP and management quota.

faculty to student ratio of my class is 1:64 in lecture and 1:32 in labs. teachers are mannerless and rude , dont know how to talk with students and teach nothing valuable except just yap around the subject and leave. some teachers are really supportive and appreciate students for their work and want everyone to succeed rather than being theior slave , you are lucky if you get those teachers. faculties i liked are Nawal sir of mathematics, Amit sir of CAEG, Komal ma'am of physics, Rajesh sir of coding lab, Mahima ma'am of communication. These teachers are the real teacher a student needs and they maintain the correct gap and relationship between student and them and are approachable. the faculties i didn't like i cant reveal their name but i didn't like them because they are menace for the students , very rude and mannerless besharam , dont even know how to behave with students and most of them dont even know how to teach. exams are mainly 3 in a semester. two midsems and one end sem. i dont know much data about students failing.

SKIT college is situated little outside from main jaipur city so night life around it is not much overwhelming however the area is in developing stage. small cafes and gyms are definitely available to spend fun time at. gym is also inside skit at 500 rupees per month fees. hostel and campus timing is worst part. boys timing is 9pm locked and girls idk. there are no famous hangout spots in college rather than canteen and ER cafe. outside is the whole jaipur city to explore and travel
