Course Curriculum Overview

3

The mix of theory, practicals, assignments, and vivas influenced my decision to choose this course. The curriculum builds a good foundation for real-world applications and further studies but needs better alignment with industry trends. Areas for Improvement: Update outdated topics. Add more real-world projects. Make teaching methods more interactive.

Placement Experience

4

From 4th semester students become eligible for placement Companies like CREST DATA SYATEMS (13 offers) , GATEWAY(6 offers) , RIVET(10 offers) , STREEBO visits for placement. You can visit our college website for detailed information It is said that 100% placement is happening Just like others I am planning to get placement from college too

Fees and Financial Aid

Annual Fees: ?1,14,000 Exam Fees: ?3,000 MYSY Scholarship: Awarded to students scoring a CGPA of 8.0 or above. The scholarship provides ?50,000 per year. Dairy Technology Course Scholarship: Female students who achieve 1st rank in this course are eligible for a 100% college fee waiver. They provides CVMU scholarship too for those who has annual income less than 2 lakhs

Campus Life

4

The college hosts two major festivals: the technical fest TechFest in March and the youth fest YouthWave in February. These events bring students together for workshops, hackathons, music, dance, and competitions. The library is average, with a decent collection of books and journals but limited specialized resources. Classrooms are well-equipped with smart boards and internet connectivity, which work efficiently and enhance the learning experience. The campus shines in sports, offering facilities for badminton, basketball, football, and athletics. Extracurricular activities like drama, music, and debates are actively promoted. Student-run clubs like coding, robotics, and literature clubs greatly enrich skills, networking, and campus life.

Admission

I applied to GCET but missed the cutoff by a small margin. GCET has better results and placements. I also got admission to MBIT but chose not to join due to its lower results and placements compared to my current college. Admissions are done via: Common Portal: Centralized application for engineering seats. Management Quota: Merit-based admission for those who don’t secure seats via the portal. Direct Admission: A more expensive option for confirming seats I got admission via management quota

Faculty

3

The faculty-to-student relationship is decent but could be better. Faculties are somewhat approachable, though stronger connections would help. The IT faculty is the best due to their expertise, clear teaching style, and supportive nature. Each semester has two exams: Internal (20 marks) External (50 marks) Plus internal and external vivas, attendance, assignments, projects, and presentations are all graded. Most students pass as the evaluations are balanced and manageable. The curriculum is broad and ensures both theoretical and practical knowledge, though some updates are needed to match industry trends.

Night Life

3

Well I am not leaving in campus hostel so I am not aware about this much. But yes It has gym, a lots of cafeterias, public area. As I mentioned our campus has greenery. So it's pretty to roam around campus. Girls hostels has rule to not go outside after 10 or 9:30 pm. And it is safe to roam around whole campus as they have security everywhere

There is no major problem in the curriculum regarding to the course. The curriculum covers almost all major real-world applications. But, the there is so much detailed and compulsive study on techniques that are not even used in today's time.

Placements are good. Students are eligilble for campus placements from 7th semester. The highest package is 2100000 and the lowest is 200000. The median package is 3.5 to 4.5 lakhs per year. From last two years there was 100% placements but usually its 90%. I plan to pursue pg after this degree in either mtech or mba.
