Life of EC student at VGEC

As since my childhood, I am very attractive towards the circuit and how electricity works and travel, this motive catch me to select this course. The curriculum is well enough to prepare us for real world problems; as it cover up from basic. There is some old theories mentioned in some subject which must be rewritten with new practical concept and theories. The exam are generally at 3 month interval and students find it somewhat easy in difficulty level because they are taught from basic to advance level.

I am paying 5000 INR fees per anum for the college only. There is 3000 INR fees for education, 2000 INR for exam fees along with 300 INR for PRC fees. All my colleagues have same fees as it is government college. The student get each and every scholarship as per their eligibility. Especially students get MYSY and food bill scholarship majority.

There is 1-2 tech fest are organised per semester in our college by senior students and teachers. The books which are related to study subjects for all branch in college is only available on library; no other knowledge or history book is there in library. The classrooms are well maintained and clean. The sports festival held once in a year and it is organised by staff and students only. No social group runs by our branch in a college or society.

In the room, we are provided with bed, chair, cupboard, fan, light and table for study. The meal quality is overall average because sometimes it is not good. I am living in other hostel outside of campus but for college hostel students must have high merit as it is only way to get admission in it. The locality is good as it is in the city and many people are living in surrounding.

I hadn't applied in any other college as in my list it was the best college among others and it is the best college as per providing internship and placement. As I didn't applied in any other college, I didn't get rejection. After the 12th standard, students have to fill ACPC form for applying in any engineering college. Then there are 3 rounds along with mock round in which student select the college and based on their merit they get admission in respective college from their selected college.

The faculties and students have a very good relations as teachers are helping us in each and every task. I liked all the faculties of my branch because they are familiar and always motivate us to achieve our goals. As teachers are helping us and pushes us in our difficulties so I like all faculties. There are totally 4 exams conducted in an year; 2 are mid-term exam conducted by college and 2 are finals conducted by university.

The gym is well maintained and have all equipment but there is no trainer to train the students in the college. Hostel have a time of 10 pn to reach in the hostel after that there is no entry as hostel is inside the campus only. There are many hangout places near the college as vaishnav devi mandir, palladium mall and many other.
