Reality of ABESIT

The curriculum for first year was just like school cbse syllabus and it was same as to learn and pass. Maybe or little bit sure it changes from second year. The time gap between exams are not enough to prepare as we got no time in college days and in exams we got only one day preparatory leave from college.

Internship opportunities were available inside the college. Nvidia was there in the basement and AI specific field students were allowed in there from third year which they allow them to practice and learn more about internships and so on.

Well what the seniors tell us about placements was just it only depends on your skills and only in your own hands. For better placement you have to maintain a cgpa above 8 as with the upcoming years the students in computer science field are increasing so the demand is also increasing that's why the companies took up students with an eligibility criteria above 8 cgpa or something depends upon them.

The yearly fee structure for B.Tech includes the 1st year fee of 1.44 lakhs in which you have option to pay around 97k at time of admission and rest after the session begins (For Direct admission and not for counselling students). The fees for rest of the years was 1.22-1.25 lakh each. There is deduction in fees for those who have EWS. The fees may be increased in the upcoming years or maybe not that depends on college. The scholarship was available in college which was not for Direct admission students(General category) and regarding which the information was provided by the college.

The campus life was not so good. There is no clubbing events in college but communities were divided at online groups and for it you have to search about it in college. The main thing was there is no sporting activities in college from the side of college itself. But in breaks you're allowed to do whatever you want to do in ground with your own stuff.

The admission process was simple they pick up students who fulfill their eligibility criteria of 75% in 12th boards without seeing jee result whereas they also have students having 60% in boards but in this case you have atleast 60 percentile in jee mains.

Faculty was great and supportive. Some of them are irritating and call at your home. They took attendance like we were still in schools and also they have to check up on our notes. Exams are like they took 2 times class test, 3 assignments which was taken in class, and 2 sessional test one after covering 60% syllabus and another after the 100% of syllabus. The time table was like first they took assignment 1 then class test 1 then assignment 2 then sessional test 1 then assignment 3 then class test 2 then sessional test 2.

The college was around the national highway so the night life was brilliant according to me. There were rules as there was in all universities of entry and exit of college. There is only one main gate for the entry and exit of college. Hostel timings was not known as I'm day scholar.
