Likes

I like our branch as teachers are so supportive
Our head of the department is the best and support us all the time
Our branch organises different events which are really fun n creative

Dislikes

Mainly the reservation system that is the biggest problem
Other branch teachers especially EC department are not good
Our college events like insignia are really boring

Course Curriculum Overview

I would rate our course 4.5 out of 5 because they teach all the necessary subjects give projects and they push us to do many creative things So I guess our branch teachers are pretty good compared to others

Internships Opportunities

Our college has good internship opportunities because we had visa company in our college in which we all attended even though we are 3rd sem and it's just package was 100000 per month which had really good opportunities

Placement Experience

Because of recession many colleges placements have reduced drastically and being in 3rd year our 3 classmates got placed in dell for 13.5 lakhs per Annum and in visa for about 1 lakh per month so it's good I guess

Fees and Financial Aid

I pay 2.25 lakhs per Annum . I have admitted to this college through COMEDK exam. There are scholarships provided for backward classes like SSPs etc Management fees is 4 lakhs for our branch Kcet fees is 90k for general merit

Campus Life

Campus life is fun bunking classes attending events , we have a bakery , canteen and cafe in our college We have a Ganesh temple which is really good to visit and our classes are good too and our side college we have hanuman temple

Admission

I chose this college because of my COMEDK ranking if u were sc st I would got in many better colleges because of this reservation I didn't have any other option rather than choosing this coolege that's all

Faculty

Our faculty is really good and very supportive and they make students to learn better as they organise events and posts all hackathons webinars which are being conducted by other colleges so I guess our branch is best

Night Life

I don't really know abt how the night life is at college because I'm not a hostelite I'm a localite According to my friend the night life is good in our college so I guess it's good Night life is good at our college

From Classrooms to Clinic : My College Journey

Course Curriculum Overview:

Aspects that made me choose this course : The course has strong clinic focus. It gives early ward postings and lab skill training. The mix of theory and clinical work made me choos it. The course gives hands-on skill in wards and lab. We learn case study, care plan and drug chart. It also improves our critical thinking skills during intervention. Areas to improve : More skill lab time can be added. More demo with new tech will help. More group talk snd case based learn can imrpove study. There are 2 internal exams each sem and one final exam. Exams are fair and needed daily study. They are not very hard if we prepare well.

Good Intership.

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college are available, but they are average and not very high level. The college conducts campus placement for our course, mainly in hospitals and related healthcare sectors. Many students get placed through college, but package is usually basic or entry-level. It is good for starting career and gaining experience.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is covered by theory classes as well as the practical hours, clinical posting time will be change in each semester. As for the exam each year is consist of two semesters, and each semester have two IA exam which coming up of the end semester eaxm. The difficulty of the subjects is based on how each student is will approaching the subject. As my experience of 3 years I felt like that the subjects will be get difficulted in each coming semester. And most of the subject will be having practical exam section which includes the osce section, which helps the students to improve the self confidence and good maintenance of interpersonal relationship. The 1 IA will on 3nd month of your semester starts and the 2 IA will be 1-2 months after your first IA anthe final end semester exam will be on the 6th month after the semester starts....

Nursing Journey

Course Curriculum Overview:

I've always wanted to do a professional course and I choose to nurse because it's a challenging yet rewarding profession. The faculty is well qualified and experienced with newer teaching-learning methods. I'm not quite sure about the student-to-faculty ratio. Exams are held annually. It really depends on the student but you have to do your part responsibly to make the most and learn.

Yes It's true

Not only in SDM I also written entrance exam in other Rajiv Gandhi University colleges and also I got admission letter... I choose SDM over them because they have facilities for a nursing career, mainly the clinical experience.... they have their own Medical College Hospital, Dental hospital as well as a Super Speciality Hospital.... And my sister was a student of SDM. And as well as for my sister experience there were providing the best clinical experience for the students which help them in future work life.......Read More

Admission for BDS is through NEET exam. For general category students, the eligibility criteria is 50% or more. Then the student needs to take part in all India councelling or state councelling. The admission process was quite easy not any difficulties faced I have took admission through NEET entrance exam The thing i really didn't like and i against is the caste wise seat allotment And caste wise seat reservation which is really unfair for students who scored higher then some one else and couldn't get seat because of caste difference..
