- The ratio of girls and boys is almost equal. The social life in this college is amazing because of the events that are conducted from time to time. These events help in acting like ice breakers between students because it helps students interact.
- The college has all the facilities like library, computer labs, playgrounds but he only thing that the college lacks in is the size and area.
- The college does offer good faculty and teaching facilities and also all the classrooms equipped with digital boards or projectors.
Dislikes
- The college is small compared to other colleges in pune.
- The college does not provide with internships at all which hinders the personal and professional growth.
- Lack of professional development for future because only text book things are taught.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course Bachelor of Business Administration in ?nternational business was chosen by me as it prepares me for entering into the global domain of the business world. The course has various relevant subjects and also includes a foreign language that enables you to search for jobs in that particular country with ease.
Fees and Financial Aid
The course fee is divided into 3 parts for 3 years and one year is divided into 2 semesters as the college follows SBPU curriculum. The fee for one year of the course is rupees 70,000 which can be paid in two parts if a special application is submitted to the principal statinting the financial concerns of the individual's parents.
Campus Life
Christ college Pune has a very colorful and happening environment as it has various cultural clubs and associations run by students that conduct events from time to time. Every festival is celebrated in the college. You get to socialise alot during these events and programs as students from all the departments are celebrating together.
Admission
Christ college Pune being a branch on Christ University had a renowned name moreover the college was in close vicinity to my house. Although this was not the only reason I selected this college. I had to enroll into this college because i had taken a year drop because i left hotel management and by the time i was searching for this particular course in other colleges, the slots were filled up. The admissions in this college start with filling the admission form released by the college which precedes with an interview with the faculty and if selected u have the last interview with the principal after which you are notified of your selection into the college.
Faculty
Each semester has different subjects with which the faculty also changes. The teachers really are professional and precise. The exams are divide by semester. Each semester has a midsem internal exam and a semester end exam apart from which there are other submissions of project and assignments as well.
Night Life
Night life in pune is really happening and fun. You have many restaurants and malls in and around the college where you can hang out with your buddies. The college is on a bit of the inner side so yes the restaurants are a bit away for walking. The college although gets the gates closed by 5pm in the evening but students can remain in the college for extra curricular activities and sports.
