College review

The political situation sometimes gets too bold,thats the only issue other wise the culture is quite rich in this college.and the city Jalpaiguri itself is very beautiful and the city is not too busy and very close to nature.

B.Sc is a 3 years course.When I got addmission (2015) there was 3 parts of exam.each part of exam was held in each year.on the first and second year there was 2 pass subject,one honours subject and one compulsory subject But in part 3 there was only honours and compulsory.

There are not much job opportunities.If you got lucky then some company might come for placement but it is very unlike to happen.And not many departments provide internship.So there is not much opportunity in these areas.

There aee several events in this college.In the beginning of the academic year departmental freshors are conducted.It is a introductory type of program among senior students and junior students amd teachers.

Not too much expensive.It is an government affiliated college,so fees for the most of the courses are very less but In Computer Science and Microbiology department fees are slightly high compared to the other subjects.

There are aid fund and Half fee/Full fee politics.These are provided to the students yearly.They have to apply for these facilities.If they got selected for these scholarships then they have to collect the money from the college office.

The labs are quite good.They are very good quality of instruments and stuffs of the labs are very helpful.There is NCC program of you want to join then you have this opportunity.Verious sports are played here.One big playing ground is attached to the college.

There are one ladies hostel and one boys hostel.The hostel facilities are good and deciplined.But if you do not want to stay at hostel the ypu have lots of choice as mess and pg.you can go for single or double accommodation as your likings.

There are alumni networks but in my department the network was not too strong.I don't properly know about other departments.Some seniors are connected to us through social media and they are very helpful.

At first apply online for the subject you want to,then merit list will be provided and if you are selected then you have to deposit your fees and get admission.you can pay at the time of apply through online or offline but while getting admission you have pay offline.

All the stuffs and professor present in the college are very helpful.In my department all the teachers conducted serious lectures which was very helpful towards building our concept.If we had any problems our teachers was happy to help us.
