- Sanitation in hostels is an issue . Proper waste disposal is something that needs improvement
- Sometimes electricity issue also happen but these occur very less
- Infrastructure needs some improvement and renovation as well although the work is in process but it needs to be done as soon as possible for students convenience.
Course Curriculum Overview
This course offers social interaction with patients that helps to gain practical knowledge The CBME cirriculum includes clinical postings,real patient exposure, practical aspects and practices that prepare you for future real world applications. Areas in which improvement needed is more hand on practical knowldege for students The frequency and timing of examination is optimum.
Internships Opportunities
Once you complete your course and pass the exams you are eligible foe internship that is for 1 year duration. The monthly stipend is 12000 rs. After completing internship you can apply for pg courses .
Fees and Financial Aid
The yearly fee for obc category is 21000 and for general category students is 36000 This fee is inclusive of hostel fee ,tuition fee and others. Scholarship schemes are there like upscholarship or central schemes like nsp scholarship which offers amount corresponding to the fee that u pay For the complete MBBS course fee is 1,80,000 approximately
Campus Life
The annual fest of college is named euphoria which is organised every year in october/november. Our college has well equipped library with adequate books Classrooms are proper air conditioned with projector equipped there. Every year sports week is organised where various outdoor as well as indoor games are held and tournaments are organised.other than these various festivals are celebrated like janmashtami ,basant panchmi,with extracurricular activities . Many students run their social pages to spread awareness and keep people engaged with study materials and fun activities to motivate students.
Hostel Facilities
The facilities provided in rooms are separate single seater rooms for seniors and double seater for juniors. Each room has separate Bed,Mattress,table,chair and almirah installed in it. Proper ventilation is there in every room. One can use electical items also without any hesitation.Hostel food is also average.There are three mess where you can eat according to your taste.Food is of good taste and they take proper care of your nutrition. Besides this canteen is also available which also opens late in night. Hostel is alloted at the time of admission itself so you don't have to register separately for it. Hostel fee is four thousand eight hundred which is included with college fee.
Admission
I applied for the colleges like kgmc as it is one of the top medical colleges but i couldn't get it becuase of my less marks so i opted for motilal nehru medical college which is also one of the top ranked colleges of up.Among other colleges i chose this college because of it's better academics and hostel facilities which are not in every other college. The admission occurs thorough NEET exam.The cutoff for this college is 4-5k AIR which varies more or less around it.
Faculty
Faculty student ration is optimum.The relationship between students and faculty are very good such that we can ask any doubt without any hesitation and whenever we need their guidance they are always their to help us.No such teacher is their to whom i could point out good or bad as everyone is amazing. Exam pattern is 3 internal exams and 1 professional exam per year.Exam are taken systematically and timely and level of paper is also moderate . Only 1-2 students hardly fail otherwise result is 100% pass
Night Life
There are various cafeterias and restaurants nearby college to hangout with friends. Gym,and library is also there for those who don't want to study in college library. The college campus is the best to have a walk after having meals of to just refresh your mind after study . The famous places like in civil lines there is PVR to watch a movie on weekends,dominos,kfc,burger king,kake di hatti and many more to have good food. The campus area is safe to walk around .The hostel and campus timing is from morning 6 am to night 10 pm .
