Course Curriculum Overview

3

Passion for subject made me choose this course Curriculum is good but teaching methods are poor Unnecessary change in subjects everyyear should be stopped and specific schedule should be released which must be reliable as well Internal exams every month , University yearly.

Internships Opportunities

3

Since it is a medical College internship is compulsory for 1 year. Instead of being a learning opportunity at times it becomes hectic and stressful due to less workforce. You shall gain wonderful experiences through that.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly tution fees is 13000 rupees. On admission around 10000 was collected in the name of book fee which we can opt out .Exam fee of amount roughly 10-20 thousand will be collected yearly for University exams .Hidden practical fee of amount 10000 will be collected. People from govt schools were given full scholarships , free books and no hostel or university fee. Scholarships are available for bpl with lower annual income according to their minority categories.

Campus Life

4

Annually 2 festivals artbeat , vadivasal and minor events. Rallies awareness programmes are conducted. Classroom is okay no additional technical support Sports teams are good z coaches available , girls have restrictions in timings

Hostel Facilities

3

Facilities are substandard , new blocks are fine older blocks are difficult to adapt. Meal quality good but occasionally bad due to lack of varieties and masalas used. Registration was at hostel , easy , affordable

Admission

Closer to my home , great climate water and people, relatively safer city for women . Admission was through neet , Cmc fills as 5 th 6 th college in counselling. Admission involves submission of certificates and filling applications. The documents required could have been made clear.

Faculty

3

Faculty to student ratio is good exceptions are pediatrics . Faculty student relations predominantly good but few people expect maximum discipline and decorum . Strict dress code to be followed. Best faculties were chief of surgery 5, medicine 5, 6 , physiology professor sir was great , Ent faculties had great knowledge. Yearly three paper approx , depending on subjects. Difficulty is in clearing practical as they refuse to give a good score and students find it hard to get aggregate pass

Night Life

2

Hostel gyms are available, libraries are average Hostel in time around 6 pm for girls. Campus 1.30-4.30 pm , morning hospital 8am- 12 pm Campus not safe to hangout in night. No specific hangout spots within college

Course Curriculum Overview:

It deals with patient care and clinical diagnosis along with hands on training the influenced my decision to take up this course. Through ward postings, history taking and case discussion it prepares me well for my PG exams and further future pursuits. Skill based learning should be emphasised more along with small group teaching. Sometimes the close spacing of exams can be very stressful. Difficulty level is appropriate.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course is very challenging obviously as we're studying to become doctors. it could've been better by increasing the duration of the course. our first year/ semester instead of it being for 12 months was only of 9-10 months so our portions are being pushed a little. it happened due the scam etc around neet and our course start date was pushed. the course could be made easier by increasing the duration of the course. we have exams every week which does make it easier to keep up with the portions but makes it too stressful for us. maybe instead of keeping exams on monday they could change it to saturday so we can relax and be free on sundays.

Placement Experience:

The students in their internship will get around 35000 per month excluding their mess fees, they have the option to opt out of the mess. And once they finish their internship they had to do two years bond in places where the colleges allot them and the salary for those two years will be decided by the place the person goes and itll be definitely more than what they get during internship.
