Remarks
Positive- Amazing brand and a good top notch bunch of people where competition is healthy and u get learn new things everyday. Negative- Other than above evdrything but the worst part is u ll have to pay fine everytime u do something wrong. They re loots. They re like old government office where everything can happen if u pay money!
Course Curriculum Overview
OK type course. Over huped university. Semester pattern. They have their own pattern of taki g exams. Weekly seminars are conducted and continuos internal assesment happens every week which is like class test whose marks are added to final marksheet.
Placement Experience
Placements and jobs are good. Quite a lot of MNC's approach the college for the students as students here are top notch.They are among the best in the country.College doesnt provide i ternship but they allow to do internship.
College Events
Xaviers premier league a football intra college events whete various team participate. Various finance and management fests are of quite good level. Biggest event here is XAVOTSAV which is annual 3 days inter college fest.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Expensive.Fees is expensive as compared to other college and very expensive as compared to other government colleges. Must reduce the fees as it becomes unapproachelable for students of not so middle class.
Fees and Financial Aid
No such facility as per my knowledge is offered by college.It may happen that if u contact principal he may give u some concession in fees. else there are no such scholarships. All are just loots.
Campus Life
Quite okay types i would say. ground is medium sized. Labs are also ok types. Activities are there departments wise as college run for various timing divided into various departments like science commerce economics management etc.
Alumni/Alumna
Amulni and alumunus are very scattered all 9ver the world. U ll find a Xaverian everywhere in the world. While talking about helpfullness i ve never been in contact with any of them as i didnot need any help.
Admission
After 12th Std filled the marks which i got in the form online on their website. Was selected on merit basis. Was valled to college for filling offline forms paying fees and a formal orientation process as to how to proceed with the course.
Faculty
Poor. Most of them are bengalis who dont want to change. An entire makeover is needed.If faculties doesnt change students will stop takong admission there and this college will also become like any other mediocre college.
