Saveetha is one of the best engineering universities in Tamil Nadu and the country. It is ranked No 7 among all private universities in India and No 2 among all private universities in Tamil Nadu by India Today; it has recorded 90% placements in the last 3 years. All the traditional courses and other trending branches of engineering are offered at the university.

In the education wise there will be constant pressure of performing. If u don't perform well you are made to sit in coaching classes after the college time. There will be only 30 students per class from 2 nd year onwards, so you will get the due attention from the lecturers during the class hours. The teaching staff are a friendly bunch except a few people and everyone will listen and clear your doudTs. The SMART BOARD facility has been fitted in almost all the classes adding to the information that you can get.

Only 25 students are selected from our super seniors batch soo far. Companies are visiting, but not many students are getting recruited. The highest salary package offered is 13 LPA, and it is offered by Paypal. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 15,000 per month, and it is offered by Guru. Many companies like Amazon, TCS, and Capgemini visit the campus for placements. This college has a very unique course curriculum which consists of 4 semesters per year. We have to study 4 subjects every semester.

The college organises many events and fests. Scholarships are offered to meritorious students. The college organises sports events and technical programs.Many events will be conducted like as DRESTIN, FRESHERS DAY A welcome day for juniors and e-fest.

They Get too much fee. Infrastructure is More than good in this college. Excluding the semester or tuition fee,they always ask some fee for some events ,etc. They conduct some Engineering Week,Cultural,Symposium and they ask students for money. There is no contribution from college except for pongal Festival.

The college provides first graduate, AICTE, Tamilnadu and alumni scholarships to students.Rs. 1 Crore worth Scholarship per year for Meritorious Students, Students Excelling in Sports, Government Scholarship for SC, ST, MBC, and OBC Students

The events like college day, cultural day, Pongal celebrations, sports day, technical and non-technical events and programme's, workshops are frequently conducted to enrich the student's knowledge.Drestein (symposium) is conducted in our college. Pongal festival, cultural and sports day are conducted simultaneously in January. The farewell party is conducted for each department separately. The college provides first graduate, AICTE, Tamilnadu and alumni scholarships to students.

We can use the Wi-Fi facility with our IDs, and we can use only 500 MB per day. Classrooms are very good. I think no college classrooms can be compared with classrooms of Saveetha School of Engineering. The integrated labs accomodate only 30 members in each class. There is a big playground for all sports. Hostel rooms are good but not excellent. I am not facing any issues regarding the infrastructure of the college.

Placement training and Travis are offered to students so that they can be confident to attend placement drives, face the interview and other tests. The lowest package offered is 3 LPA, and the highest package offered is 12 LPA. This is the best college.

The teachers are helpful and qualified. They explain the concepts well. They use smart boards and both practical and theoretical methods to teach. We have visited the Doordarshan office in Pondicherry. The curriculum is useful. The course is easy to study, and we can apply the studied concepts practically.
