the place was awesome as Chikmagalur is a hill station in Karnataka, so weather is very pleasant. Every one gets trapped in the infrastructure and weather.faculties are not good, placement is not there, biased towards south Indian student .management neve

it was not properly designed by the university(Vtu, belgaum). For engineering nothing was current trend we studied almost all outdated technology. i took Electrical and electronics engineering we have to mug up all the things nothing was exciting.

as college is outside bangalore and managed by a religious organisation, so no proper care about the placement and intership. and they dont allow student to do internship, they are very strict about the attendance.

a big no for an average student. as IT industry was sliding down very less no of companies are coming 5 or 6. only some recruiter like tcs,hcl,techmetc. they too select very less no of students from this college.

in our 1st year no technical events were held, in 3rd year we started, and participation from college only,college also organises some national level paper presentation but this is not kind of state level too, some local college student comes in that along with the our college mates.college every year oraganises a cultural event for 2 days that is only best event of the college, participation is again 1-2 outside college and all are our mates only.

it was very expensive for outside Karnataka student. we paid around 1,30000 PA as a fee here it was only tuition fee, hostel fee mess charges and other charges from college always pops out. they had different kind of fees always, so it was very expensive for middle class student

i did not availed any scholarship or loan. and college does not assist in this they will just give you the fee structure only. I heard government banks provide loan up to 4 lakh without any guarantee. many of my friends took this loan and interest of some years were also waived off from the government.

hostel was kind of ok, we need to share a room with three other mates as rooms were spacious it wasn't a problem. they have provided the lockers to all the students. we need to clean the rooms ourselves only as cleaning staff does the cleaning outside onl

no alumni network in college. seniors were only for the ragging. they never helped us they only scared us that particular subject is tough every one gets backlog in that. this kind of interaction only. no real help from the seniors

in engineering every thing is very frequent, you can't escape out from internals and labs.as every semester has 3-4 months only and we have to give 3 internals labs and final exam it's very hectic. But i think in every engineering college situation is lik
