- Affordability: When compared to other colleagues in this same program and specialization the fees is quite affordable.
- Infrastructure is quite good. With appropriate classrooms.
- Hostel rooms are quite spacious and provide quite well food as a hostel.
Dislikes
- The course in my specialization lacks details and very small for four year.
- The courseware is bit old and no faculty specialized in Cyber Security and Forensic.
- Faculty is quite okay and supportive but the management is very poor here.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is okay they will provide you some basic knowledge but not all required to enter in the job career. You will only get theoretical knowledge. The course curriculum and facilities are not capable to show real world application enough. They will just show some basic level practicals. The course curriculum needs to be updated and specified to security specialization. The will be two mid sem exams known as Continuous Internal Evaluation and one end semester examination.
Fees and Financial Aid
For the course Btech Computer Technology with specialization Cyber Security and Forensic annual tuition fees is 135000. This annual tuition fees is negotiable and If you are a MP domicile with caste certificate it will provide MP state scholarship.There is no other fees like admission fees however each semester we have to pay 2500 for exam.
Campus Life
My overall experience is okay. The library is quite well faculties and facilities are also good. Having annual tech fest and other fests from other departments as well. The labs here have resource constraints in the PCs like they are low speca one. You can't depend on them to do your tech stuff. There is know a specific course complex with a proper sports field with a running track. They also have gym. But they ask extra fees for accessing sports complex and gym
Hostel Facilities
There are available 3 sharing rooms with bith AC/Non-AC facilities in college hostel. Will provide you 3 times meal and one time snacking. But history have told us that some people have reached hospital after eating mess food. They provide complete vegetarian food.
Admission
So Sage University Indore is quite in my budget the most important point. The course fees and hostel fees both are comparatively affordable. Also the city Indore played a good role as this is a clean and safe city for students from outside. At the time of my admission only very few colleges are providing this course. Also the college have a very good marketing team to reach students from all over India. Considering these I have taken addmission here. I have also applied to the Shimla University but Found this college better so moved here. To the admission process they conduct a entrance exam known as SEE which is a quite easy exam and then they will connect you via call for a smooth admission process.
Faculty
Faculty to student ratio is okayish currently don't have a correct number but yes for your queries and problems you will always find someone to support. There is a mix type of faculties with some good supportive faculties as well some dead from inside faculties. Faculties here lacks knowledge in specializations as the are from plain CSE. The course curriculum is very old and doesn't contain new concepts and technologies. Exams are quite easy if you know what to study one day before exam is enough.
Night Life
Late night activities they are okay for boys. Hostel will be open till 10 canteen/cafeteria will open till 8. There are grounds to sit and chill. But for girls it is very strict and can't roam in campus after 7PM. There are certain tapries in front of college for time pass.
