Course Curriculum Overview

4

I would rate the BCA course curriculum as relevant and fairly comprehensive. One reason I chose this course was its focus on important subjects like programming, databases, and web development, which are essential in the IT field. The curriculum provides a strong foundation for understanding these topics, but it does not include enough about new technologies like AI, machine learning, or blockchain, which are becoming very important. While the course offers good theoretical knowledge, it lacks practical exposure, making it hard to relate to real-world applications. Adding more hands-on projects, internships, and interactive teaching methods like case studies and group discussions would make the curriculum much better and more effective for students. After every 6 month we have our sem exam, and to be honest sometimes it get bit difficult to cope up with the exam, program, feasta and cultural activities in spam of 6 months every year but thats fine, go pretty cool teachers

Internships Opportunities

4

Our college places a strong emphasis on providing internships to help students gain practical industry experience and prepare for their future careers. The dedicated placement cell collaborates with various companies to secure internship opportunities in fields such as IT, marketing, finance, and design. Companies like TCS, Infosys, and Wipro frequently partner with our college to offer internships to deserving candidates, often leading to pre-placement offers. Internships are available during semester breaks, and the college ensures they align with the academic calendar to avoid disruptions.

Placement Experience

5

The placement process at my college begins in the sixth semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and Cognizant recruit for roles such as software developer and system analyst. The highest package last year was ?8 LPA, and the average ranged from ?3-4 LPA, with 60-70% of students getting placed. For those not placed, guidance is offered for off-campus opportunities or further studies. After completing my BCA, I plan to gain IT work experience and later pursue an MCA or certifications to enhance my career prospects.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure at my college is divided across the years. In the first year, I paid ?50,000 for tuition, ?5,000 for registration (one-time), ?10,000 for admission (one-time), ?8,000 for development fees, ?5,000 for lab fees, ?5,000 for the refundable caution deposit, and ?2,000 for other charges like student welfare and library access. This brought the total for the first year to ?85,000. In the second and third years, the fees remain consistent at ?50,000 for tuition, ?8,000 for development fees, ?5,000 for lab fees, and ?2,000 for other charges, totaling ?65,000 per year. For the entire three-year course, I’ll be paying ?2,15,000 in total. From what I’ve heard, there is usually a 5%-10% fee hike for new batches every year due to inflation and other factors. However, the fees for my batch have remained the same throughout the course so far.

Campus Life

5

Campus life at my college has been an enriching experience, blending academics, social activities, and personal growth. The annual cultural fest held every February; it 3 days fest which is so fun, sports are held every January and these are major highlights that bring students together for creative and intellectual pursuits. The library is well-stocked with a wide range of books and journals, both academic and general, and offers digital access to research databases, making it a valuable resource for students. Classrooms are equipped with modern amenities like projectors and smartboards, providing a conducive learning environment. The campus also promotes sports and extracurricular activities, with facilities for cricket, basketball, and indoor games, as well as clubs for dance, music, and drama. These events play a significant role in enhancing campus life, providing platforms for networking, skill-building, and relaxation. Overall, my time at the campus has been balanced and fulfilling, thanks to the vibrant social scene and well-maintained infrastructure.

Admission

Actually for BCA my first priority was this college and i didn't look for or applied except this and as i did the spot admissions i got the change and for BCA there's no entrance exam in our college. Its only the spot admissions taken. Cutoffs for this course is 60% above in 12th grade and my overall experience was so smooth and simple, staff was so helpful and welcoming during the process

Faculty

5

Overcrowded classes in my college make learning challenging. Limited interaction with professors, distractions, stretched resources, and delayed feedback reduce the quality of education and overall experience. Faculties are approaching, no doubt but because of their strictness, i take a step back most of the time. I like my english mam. She is sweet, approachable and friendly. Sadly we had her for only 2 sem but whenever we greet her she has this pretty smile on her face and I dont like my programming sir, he always have this grumpy face which scares me a lot to be honest. We have total 6 sem (6 exam) an dmost of the time its easy to clear it and very few of them fail to clear it.

Night Life

3

I have never experience a night life in or near college and campus so i am not person to comment on that. But during day time whenever we hangout or bunk, we gets plenty of cafes and even a mall near our college which make it so easier to make memories. Few of them are cafe republic, csb, the common ground, brewin cafe, the dali cafe and much more
