Remarks
The college is one of the best college of Lucknow for Commerce and arts for sure. The quality of education you get here is best in lucknow. However, if you are expecting much in terms of events or extra curricular activities then unfortunately this college will not suffice your purpose at this point of time. Also some of their rules might sound weird to you like ban on bringing cellphones to college, however the truth is every students brings one. Also this college has a uniform, so if you are that casual wear guy/girl then sorry.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum of college is good enough. The syllabus of bcom hons is upto the mark and as per the current requirement. Bcom hons has some professional subjects which helps the students who are willing to pursue CA/CS/MBA. Let's say for example bcom hons has a subject called Operations Research which is taught in MBA programs. So if you learn this kind of course you would have an advantage as you will have a fair idea of what the subject is all about once you go for MBA.
Placement Experience
There are placements in the college and the placement cell mo doubt give their best efforts to bring placement drives to college. But don't expect that much from placements because considering the fact that this collge only has courses like B.com/BA/B.sc/BBA and some Masters courses too, you wouldn't get placements with a high package. But still if you want some experience before going for Masters, you can always do that.
College Events
Sorry for this part but the college doesn't really involves much into celebrations or events. Actually there are none celebrated except for one cultural program that happens annually. Even if we talk about freshers or farewell party, that doesn't happens here & majority of people don't like this part about the college. However, students do arrange it outside the college so you can always go for that option. But don't expect anything from college except for good grades and knowledge.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is quite feasible for the programs like Bcom/BA/B.sc. However, for B.com hons & BBA the fees is close to 1.6 lacs for 3 years. The fees can be paid in half yearly installments or you can say semester wise.
Fees and Financial Aid
I haven't really availed any scholarship because I wasn't eligible for one but I do know that scholarships are available. There re certain criterias for availing scholarships. There are scholarships for meritorious students & for economically backward stuents as well. To get clarity on it you can visit the website https:npgc.in
Campus Life
Sports activities are conducted bit you have to keep a check on notice board for that. Whenever there is any sport activity conducted it is attached on the notice board and you have to contact the concerned person to take part in it. There are computer labs and libary too. One good thing about this college is that you don't have to buy books from outside. You will get every book required for the course from the college library itself.
Hostel Facilities
I haven't opted the hostel but the hostel is good. Howver if we compare boys and girl hostel, the latter is better in terms of facilities. Also the hostel is alloted on the basis of merit. So when you apply for admission you have to mention if you want to opt for hostel and then accordingly a list will be uploaded on college website.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network and senior students are certainly very helpful. Seniors are very helpful in terms of guiding the juniors and never step back to help anyone. If you want, you can connect to them on the social media platforms and they will definitely help you with your concerns/queries.
Admission
To get admission in the college one needs to go through an entrance exam that is conducted by National P.G College. That entrance exam consists of series of questions related to basic maths, little bit of gk, and some basic questions related to science and all.
Faculty
The faculty is good enough. Professors are helpful. However, some of them are little bit strict too. National P.G College has its own reputation for this. In other colleges/university yoh would find professors who might be friendly but don't expect much from here. They are professional and a little bit strict if it comes to studies.
