My Experince Of My College

So the subjects for your engineering fields gets offered to you from 5th sem onwards, due to a wide variety of faculty choices available we get to choose they have their own teaching methods some are very chill and just want to finish the course and some are very indulged in making the children learn so they give us projects and research paper so it depends what you want to do. I think it is a very good system which doesnt need much changes and for the exams i think we get fair chance to perform well as we have appropriate leaves also the interanls are divided into da and quizzes as well so we get a chance of comeback too

So we have a wide variety of chances we have some ties to international universities where you can go for exchange semester or project work if approved by any faculties in the mentioned unis. We also have incubated start ups one of the famous one is InsideFPV, these are mostly unpaid internships done in the campus, then we have the usual interships in the vacations after 5th sem which range from microsoft offering 1.5lpm to some companies offering 20kpm

The internships begin right after the 5th sem is over we had a wide variety of companies from microsoft to optum, the selections are fairly less and is mostly based on gpa. The on campus placements begins from 7th sem onwards we had Google , Zomato all these began names show up for the first half and as the time goes by the packages started to decrease.Mostly beign around 8-9lpa . Highest package was from Motorq of 1cr and percentage of students placed till now is 50%. I would like to do corporate jobs right after the degree ends

I have to pay a year wise fees of 4.5 Lakh which is for category 4 , we have categories till 5 . For Category 1 it is 1.73 lakh which then jumps to 3.48 for Category 2 and then increases by 50k per category. This includes all the payment we need to do regarding our education and just a caution fee of 15k at the start. No reservation of any kind and I'm unaware about any scholarships

So we have to major fests Gravitas and Riviera the former is a technical fest held in end of September and later is the cultural fest. The club culture is great here we have a wide variety of clubs from GDSC to finearts for every type of interest. We have a huge library too which is open till midnight all the way since 9 in the morning and clubs are also allowed to hold their indiviual events their is also a minimum events a club needs to organise so that is great

I live in 3 bedded ac accomadatiom right now and it is great the food is great the rooms are great, we have cleaners available to clean our rooms we have gym facilities swimming pool tennis basket etc. The hostel is alloted on the basis of your gpa the once with higher cgpa are allowed to get their desired room and can take their friends in with them too

The admission process is simple you just appear for VITEE and then you get a rank and based on that you make a list of branches you wanna study in and then the clg provides you with the branch based on your rank. I did not apply to many other college as I;m a student of covid batch so I didnt perform very well in other exams so this was the only college I applied to I think and got my desired branch

We have a system called FFCS where we get to choose slots for our subject evening classes or morning classes also we get to choose our facultiies . Instead of Midsem we have CAT 1 and 2 which is just midsem divided into 2 part and then a final endsem. The passing criteria for endsem paper is a 40/100 and internal should be total to50 /100

No night life for the most part as we have in timings of 9pm however for club work they allow special night slips where permitted students can work together other than that their is not much of a college life here and they also cut wifi after 12.30
