Remarks
Sri venkateshwara college of Engineering is good for students who are interested in studies thand compare to other fields like music sports. Very strict about attendance which they need to change. Good thing is they conduct mediation classes and placement training which is good to students.
Course Curriculum Overview
I am a electronic and communication engineering student. As everyone knows it's the toughest course of Engineering. We had 3 internals and 1 externals for 25 and 100 marks respectively. Labs externals was for 50 marks and internals 25 marks.
Placement Experience
Placements are good for programming based course like computer science information science courses Core based placements are very few compare to other colleges. Courses like electronics and communication have less placement based on core concept. There is no intership provided
College Events
Usually svce has 2 years once college fest which will be in March every year. Every year we will have ethnic day and technical fest which is limited to branch or within college. We have sports meet which is good for students who are interested in sports
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee consists of two parts, one we need to pay to university and other to college has development fee every year. College fee is comparatively high but feasible for middle class people. College provides a scholarship to merit students.
Fees and Financial Aid
College provides scholarship to students with the good percentage or merit. College don't provide any loan but you can get it through other banks has educational loan.Even government provides scholarship to students with restricted income.
Campus Life
Labs are average but ok to conduct experiments.Basically svce is more studious kind of college yet we have college fest for every 2 years which is celebrated in grandly Every even semester we had ethnic day where we were in ethnic dress Every year we have paper presentation which is good for students in there placements
Hostel Facilities
I was day schoolar so I do not have good idea of hostel but based on my friends it is average.They provide good facilities for studying for students. The food quality is not so good as similar to other colleges.
Alumni/Alumna
We have good alumni network. Every year we have alumni meetings which will help to final year students to get idea about placements and project. Alumni help and guide the students about companies and higher education fields.
Admission
I had got a cet rank based on that I had put this college in top position in the list of college in which i wanted to get admitted.After allotment i had got this college to join, firstly I had paid vtu fee through dd and then I paid college fee in college itself
Faculty
College has good faculties especially in ece branch.They are student friendly and approachable. Most of them are PhD qualifiers. They will help in projects intership and placements. Even they do councilling for each student.
