Placements opportunities really influenced me to enroll in this course. Also its a trending one. Cirriculum doesn't consists of unnecessary subjects, it only has the required ones. But it can be improved, rather than teaching new programming language for first 4 sems, they should continue only 1 but in depth. Frequency of exams are high as compared to schools but normal according to other universities.

From 6 semester, student is opened to placement opportunities. Some names of companies visited this year are microsoft, infosys, tata communication services, mahindra tech, jp morgan etc. Offers were for internships varied from 45k to 1.2 lac per month. About 80-90% students get placed in campus. My plan after degree is to do a job in a good tech company and sustain in life.

For the 2022-2026 batch college fees is 85000 rs. Per sem (6 months), and hostel fees is 67000 rs. per sem. For admission, student has to fill a form of 1100 rs. and 20000 rs. Erp charges on admission. Hostel fees is same for every batch, this fees is for 4 seater, increased by 5% every year. For 2023-2027 batch, academic fees is 1 Lac per sem and for 2024-2028 batch, fees is 1.2 Lac per sem.

There is a festival called rangrez held every year in chitkara university. It's a national theatre fest, many universities visits Chitkara to compete. University library allows a student to issue a book for a month for free and there are no particular charges for any book or journal which are available in library. Every classroom consists of power plug for every student to charge their laptop. There is smartboard in each class. Our university also participates in many sports and extra curricular activities, such as between badminton, Table Tennis, football etc. There is also a gym available, student can pay some fees to join. There are many student societies like C2S2 is the official Chitkara university club. They consist of many subgroups for poetries, singing, dancing etc. Also, there are clubs from different companies like apple student community, google developer student club, and geeks for geeks. Student can participate them to explore and improve their network.

A university hostel provides various things like a mirror, induction, a table tennis, a fridge and a press table for every hostel floor. In room there is almirah,bed and mattress, book shelf, study table and lamp, chair for each student.

Chitkara University provides better opportunity than others, moreover fees is also reasonable. Placements related companies visits the campus on regular basis. I have only applied to Chitkara University, so no rejections from other universities. But if there were rejections then it would be in government universities, as there are criteria of JEE rank. Admission process in chitkara is relatively simple, student has to fill a admission form. Its on basis of first come first serve. Then if you are in, they will call you for counselling and you are asked to pay first sem fees. This is whole process of admission.

Grading system starts from grade O, A+, A, B+, B, C , P and then F. There are more than 500 faculty members and over 100 classrooms with capacity of 90 each. Exam system consists of 3 Sessional Tests and 1 End term for each subject. Every Sem has about 5 subjects. Best 2 of St avg is 40% of total and rest 60 is end term.

Gym is opened in university timings. Cafeteria is opened for orders till 10.30 pm but student can remain outside hostels till 12 am. Library is open from 9 am till 11:30 pm. There's a place called square 1, it has many outlets like house of kulcha, dominos, chai nagri, etc. Its most liked place to hangout in campus.
