Course Curriculum Overview
medical field is very interesting but vast. the practical classes are very helpful and relevant in dealing with the actual patients this curriculum has developed an incredible tolerance to stress, planning skills and complex tasks which helps in every day tasks too
Fees and Financial Aid
The complete course fees for MBBS asked from us was 11450 including hostel and course fees. The mess fees is not included and ranges from 5-6k per month. 500 rupees are charged to appear for every sem exams.
Campus Life
celebrations are held regularly including musical and dance performances biggest event is pyrexia and other events include ignite and spic macay facilities are pretty good and include a sectra in the dissection hall there are multiple sports clubs for sports such as basketball, cricket, football and badminton social clubs include literary club, music and dance club
Hostel Facilities
boys hostels are not well maintained. the rooms are very small for 2 students meal quality is good and affordable. students can order their preferred meals over the counter any time of the days hostel is very affordable. 990rs for the duration of the whole course
Admission
at my rank i could opt for most of the aiims and other government colleges but aiims due to its brand name and affordable course it was my top preference. aiims rishikesh was conveniently distanced from my home and is situated in the mountains which i like admission process took around 3 days. it was not very convenient and we had to wait in long queues and walk around the whole hospital to get tests done
Faculty
faculty student ratio in the labs and dissection hall is very good the batch is divided into 5 groups and each group gets one cadaver and a pg table teacher in labs batch is divided into 3 groups and each group is divided into further sub batches which are attended by a pg teacher
Night Life
cafe and mess are open till 3am the campus is very green with vegetation and big trees prove to be good hangout spots just outside the campus is the ganga barrage which is very beautiful during the day as well as night. near the barrage there are many places for snacks
