My Experience at Vignan

The course curriculum is good. The class timings and no of teaching hours for class are good enough to understand the concept. We also have some study sessions and doubt clearance sessions. And the teaching methodologies like students participation in presenting and peer learning are there.

The college provides internship oppertunities for all branches students. For ece we got cranes varsity for our core in vlsi and embedded. We have to pay for these. College didn't provide any striped based internship. Students get these via placements in various company's. Even I got an internship with stipend. That's totally based on the skills they possess.

Students at Vignan's Institute of Information Technology (VIIT) become eligible for campus placements starting from the 7th semester of their B.Tech program. The placement training typically begins in the 4th semester, including aptitude tests, coding practice, mock interviews, and soft skills training to prepare students for the recruitment process.

I got in cause of AP JVD scholarship scheme, as an OBC student the fee structure was about 52000/- per year (tution fee). And an initial Admission fee was around 5000/- rupees. It's a one time pay though. Through the JVD scholarship, I didn't have to pay any tution fee, it's all covered under the scholarship. The semister fee is also 1500/- per semister. And each lab record coats around a 100/- rupee there. For the management my friend joined for the fees of 1.5 lakh per year. We only got eapcet admissions with scholarship for inter students. There's another entrence exam for Diploma Students too.

The social interaction and industrial exposure to students needs to be updated. We're still learning so if we get to experience the industrial methods and more guidance to future oppertunities may be good.

Vignan institute of Information Technology is closer to travel travel from any part of vizag. And aslo it offers better environment and conceptual learning. Also it's the top 3 college in Visakhapatnam with decent placement track. That's why I choose this college. I didn't apply for other colleges. The admission process is to get a seat in Eapcet and join by filling a admission paper with a few of 5000/- rupees. Another way is to join by buying the seat in management quota.

The course structure and exam structure are great here. There are professors with better understanding of their respective subjects, some even doesn't need a reference to teach the concepts. Doubt clearance is done itself in class hours and maintains a friendly relationship, approachable whenever we needed. The faculty that supports us best is Dr. Srinivasa Naik sir and with his knowledge on concepts like antennas and signals propagation it's so easier to learn and in every event and occasions he stood by us and manages things. And that's aside the college is kind of strict in rules. We got a uniform and have to wear it every day and attend college at particular times. There are some strict rules that might feel us get irritated. Coming to course structure, each subject contains 5 unit's only, for the first 2 and half units there will be a mid test and same for the remaining part. There will be a 80 to 20 ratio in the internals for overall 30 marks. You get around 18 from mid exams . 2 marks for attendance if you got above 85%. And remaining 10 marks will be given from the average of the weekly tests that we give every Wednesday in the week. The final exams is about 70 marks and quite better papaer structure. With only essay weighing 7 or 14 marks. Over all the course structure and curriculum are quite easy to pass for anyone.

No there are no written test, we just gave AP Eapcet exam for scholarship. There's same for the diploma students too. And other one is Management Quota, where you've to buy the seat. For eapcet anyone is eligible and quite easy to get good rank.

College looks great at night. Full of lights and cool looks. The library is available upto 7 PM for the students. And even the labs are available if anyone wanted to do. The campus timings are 8 am to 10 pm for 1st and 4th years and 10 to 5 for the others. There's no ragging in campus due to strict rules and some clubs. Anti ragging clubs.
