Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course that is being designed for PGDM is very interesting. It includes both theoretical & practical aspects upto current market & industry trends & needs. It helps us to be prepared for the real world applications. 2 internal exams are scheduled in every trimester. The schedule is quite tight but it made us quick learner and we'll prepared before hand of the completion.

Internships Opportunities

5

The PGDM course offers dual specialization. We will be provided 2 internships in 2 years, which we have to attend mandatorily. The best part of IIBS is it's IFS programme. IIBS finishing school grooms every individual student throughout the course through it's unique way.

Placement Experience

5

We have a dedicated training and placement department like every bschool else but out team is quite big in numbers and their way of working are very unique and modern compared to other colleges i know. Their aim is not only to provide you any job, rather they focus more on self development, industry awareness and readiness for any situation.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for 2 years PGDM course is ?945000 and it including registration, admission, tution, placement, library fees and excludes hostel & transport fees. But there are several scholarships available for Students. All girls student will recieve a scholarship amount of ?75000. Beside this scholarships according to merit are also available worth ?150000. Financially backward student and students with one parent also gets separate scholarships. Beside this class toppers get an scholarship amount of ?15000 in every trimester. Easy education loans are available also for those who needs.

Campus Life

5

The college library is huge in terms of books count and relevance. We have a free digital library access also to India's one of the biggest e-library. One of the most unique part of IIBS is it's MOM (management orientation module) programme. It's a 1 month long workshop for the new students to get adapted to the management sector. It includes various fun activities both mental & physical. And a one of kind adventure learning programme is also held. After complition of MOM, an official orientation event happens named "Valedictory". After that the management fest of IIBS takes place titled "Surface". In between every festival is being celebrated in college campus in a vibrant manner. various guest lecturers, conclaves, conferences takes place in college in every now and then. Alumni meet is also there.

Admission

I applied for few other colleges to and cleared their admission process but I chose IIBS over them because of few solid reasons. One of them is the quality of faculties and teaching. Second is the transparency between the administration & students and last but not the least is the training and placement opportunities.

Faculty

5

The faculties are very experienced in both academic & industrial sector. They're extremely helpful in nature. One good thing for the betterment of the students is strictness in exams. Management considers every exam very strictly so that self evaluation can be done of every student accurately.

Interview Experience

5

After applying for the college, I had to face a personal interview following by a HR round. No group discussion was there. The eligibility is very simple to apply. Any of the MBA entrance exam with a good score will make you eligible for applying.

Night Life

5

College has a beautiful facility of hostel for students and the transportation facilities are also smooth. The campus is just near to the Kempegowda International Airport. That gives us a scenic view of the runways clearly from the campus.

Placement Experience:

Placements in the college are good for marketing specialization. Compared to other specializations, from semester 2 itself, students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Deloitte, KPMG, ICICI Bank, and HDFC Bank visit the campus. The highest package this year was 40 LPA, and the average package is around 6.5 LPA. The percentage of students getting placed is 70% for now. After getting the degree, selection in a good company is my plan.

The average package offered is moderate and there are limited opportunities for high paying roles compared to top tier colleges. Companies that visit the campus are mostly small to mid sized organizations. The placement cell is very supportive and conduct training sessions such as aptitude tests, mock interviews and soft skills development to prepare students for placements.

Placement in my college is decent, wiyh around 90% of students are getting placed. Students usually become eligible for placement in their final year and the college provides internships opportunities before that, which helps in gaining experience. Many companies visit to campus mainly from marketing and sales, along with some roles in HR and operations. The number of offer is good but option for finance and analytic are comparatively limited.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time.
